Well headed back to my starting point. After the day I had today, So far I am stress eating three portions of my dark choc covered fruits. I am good about one serving per day when needed, however, the past couple of weeks have been extremely crazy. I can't get into details but my daughter and son in law are facing some challenging times and being the mom I am, it's affecting me as well. Please keep them in your prayers for a positive outcome quickly.

Light and Sheesh - so happy you guys posted with me last week. I've popped on a couple of times, but activity has been slow. I don't know where everyone is, but hoping we don't lose one another.

SUper grateful as work has been extremely busy and I don't have much idle time. I sneak on whenever I can.

Sheesh - if you don't have one of these - you might want to think about one - www.rollrecovery.com. I got mine last week and it is doing WONDERS!!! I'm using it just about every day and it's been helping. Still need therapy to dig into the scar areas, but the other open general areas are being treated by this thing. My good leg is loving the after effects as well. And my night cramps have diminished tremendously since using it. My trainer uses mine...lol.

OK...gotta run. Need to stop at the grocery store on the way home to stay on track with other meals. I stopped munching my other stuff since tattling on myself - WOO HOO You guys are awesome. I love that I have to be honest with you!!

Have a great night and hope to see more updates soon...and less crickets chirping in our forum lol

Well, here I am, late again but not giving up :) Frustrating to see my weight up this week but think it's a sodium issue which I need to watch a bit more closely. Tried getting my steps up and managed it for a few days anyway :) Better than not trying at all. I'm hoping to eventually claim more time during the week for myself again soon... I'd like to get my weigh in day back to Wed at some point.

TW 177.2 sigh.... hopefully it will be back down by tomorrow or Monday. We'll see...

Lois, will pray for you and your kids. I understand about how their fallout has affected you. I am dealing with the fallout from mine and can tell you it is NOT good being on this end. I need some pretty intense prayers for my little grandsons and the decisions that are being made.

    Hello, all,

No--I have not dropped off the face of the earth. I spent two weeks working 12 hours days, desperately trying to catch up at work, and also trying to fit in walking, volunteer work. taxes (tis the season), and getting my BodyMedia swapped out and back working, plus a few other "life things." Lois and Light, I am so sorry to hear that you're going through a rough patch with the grown children. I will keep you all in my thoughts and prayers.

Please don't take this wrong, but as I read your posts, it reminded me of a very good purpose for staying active on this link--I am reminded that everyone has things they have to deal with. So of course I'm not happy at all to hear that you're going through rough times, but it helps me put some perspective on my problems, which are what a friend of my would call "quality problems" in the scheme of things.

Last week I hurt my foot and missed a few days of walking. I have no idea what I did. I just stood up from my desk and felt pain shooting through my foot that lasted a few days. I was miserable because walking not only is my primary form of exercise, but it's also a big way that I deal with job stress. Yesterday, it finally felt pretty much normal, so I walked outside--but for some reason was very fatigued and just hauled myself around my three-mile route. I think maybe it was some type of mild bug, as hubby also felt very fatigued yesterday, and it was beyond just tired from the week for both of us. So today, the weather is great, and I went for an early morning walk before work. Rain is coming again tomorrow--lots of it--and then the temps are falling again, so it may be a while yet before I can walk in the a.m. on a regular basis, but I'm going to just focus on doing the best I can each and every day.

I haven't weighed in days, but I'll weigh in tomorrow with everyone else.

Ahh!! I'm finally back. The last two weeks have been too chaotic! Hubbies head is healing well, but he has a mild headache every day. Doc says it's normal, and will just take time to completely recover. We traveled to San Francisco as planned anyway, and spent a week there with son (his birthday), DIL, and adorable 19 month old granddaughter  She is so much fun, and happily she knows me well again. Trying to stay close with grandchildren via FaceTime and travel is a challenge, but we'll just keep doing it as long as we can.

Then, when we got home, our computer crashed. We finally gave up on it, and went and bought a new Mac. I love my iPhone and iPad, so we made the leap to an iMac. Still getting up to speed on it, and now going to have to try to get some data recovered from the old PC. A few documents, but mostly photographs. Arghh!!

Lois and Light, so sorry about your challenges with kids and grandkids. Nothing is harder. My thoughts are with you.

Sarah, just a thought, but maybe get your foot x-rayed and examined. There are small bones in the foot that can get little fractures.

Well, after losing my trainer and all the family visits and traveling, my weight is way up and my steps are way down. I feel like I'm starting over. Oh well. One day at a time. I'll post on the weight in thread tomorrow. Vowing renewed effort . . .

    See you all (hopefully) tomorrow.

Lois, forgot to ask . . is the roller you're talking about one of those elongated hard foam rollers? I have one and have rolled my IT (?) band and lower back some, but I should do it more. Those things HURT! But they do work well to release the scarring and tightness in the muscles. But, OUCH! Take care.
