Modifications?

The book says "see Exercise Index for substitution exercises if training from home or if machine is not available." Am I crazy or are there no substitutions anywhere in this book?

The book has descriptions and illustrations of all the exercises in the routines broken down by type towards the back - quad dominant, hip dominant, push, pull, etc. Choose another exercise you prefer in the section where the exercise you don't like is.

Thx Gigi, my A-type brain was looking for the word 'substitute'! Lol. Have a great Saturday.

I am new to this group but have been doing SC "bootyful beginnings" for a couple months now. I do a lot of modifications from the back because despite the fact that I belong to a gym,and have a gym at work, I do most of my weight training at home with just hand weights so far. I'm at the point where I need to move up to month 3 so I'm going to have to break down and buy a bar and weights or start going to the gym. Its just that working out at home is so much easier for me.

Craiglist is your friend. I scored a full cage, oly bar, bench, 300 lbs of plates and adjustable dumbbelss for around $400 bucks.
