My training for the US nationals is well and truly underway - today was the first really *kitten* kicking workout with my coach -

Right arm

1 min snatches 20 kg bell
1 mins rest
2 min snatches 16 kg bell
2 min rest
3 min snatches 12 kg bell
3 min rest
2 min snatches 16 kg bell
2 min rest
1 min snatches 20 kg bell
3 min rest

Do that all over again on the Left arm

I kept a 12 - 14 rep per min pace for most of the sets

5 min recovery

1 min grind out snatches ( fast as you can ) 8kg bell - with 1 min rest between arms - 30 reps per arm -


I wanted to empty the fridge into my mouth when I got home !

    Kettlebell training is really awesome. I use them to cross train with running. The work capacity that you must have to complete this routine must be amazing.

    My general cardio workouts are 3 mile runs !! - After I was done with all that I ran 3 miles - Honestly what is limiting me right now if my grip - my forearms were fried when I was done - I still feel really fortunate to have a great coach !
