Mid Week Motivation

Hello all!!
So... we are half way through our first week and that first official weigh-in is creeping up!
If there are any of you (and I'm sure there are) who are feeling discouraged after having a less than satifying first few days... snap out of it! You still have time to turn it around and finish this week off on a great note! Remember, it is not the "slip ups" that define our diet, but the way we recover from them! Don't give up on yourself! You know you want this, you know you are ready, and you KNOW that's all you need in order to be successful! Don't be your own worst enemy!
Now... for the rest of you. As the weekend appraches and temps us with couch-time binges and dessert splurges, I just want to remind you to keep your game face ON! Don't let that Saturday snacking cancel out what a great week you've had! Stay strong and remember....
we are weight-loss warriors!!
.... Feel free to post any motivational messages or materials below.
Thanks!!

If anyone is in need of a weekly kick in the butt (and doesn't mind a little profanity) this blog is AMAZING!!! If you sign up for her emails, she updates her blog and sends an email every Wednesday morning - perfect timing for that mid-week rut!

It is not specific to diet and exercise (though she is a long distance runner) but that is why I love it! Her advice is applicable to any goal you're setting.
Here is a little blurb regarding the "I'm too busy for ___" excuse:
"Take responsibility for the way you spend your time and energy. Stop glorifying the idea that busy = worthwhile. Just because something is urgent doesn’t mean it’s important, and no one is giving out prizes for the quantity of items you can check off a to-do list."
Edit: I see now that MFP will not allow me to even post the link, but I think you get the picture. Her blog is at LifeLessBullShi*.com0 -
I needed to hear the snap out of it...I AM my own worst enemy...OK, pitty party is OVER and I am going to have a fantastic couple of days and a wonderful four weeks...
Thank you for the reminder!! Much appreciated!!
