Well that's better, but still above my start weight. It's a little depressing to be a month into the challenge and be +1 instead of having lost any.

I'm very happy today. A loss of 2.2 was well needed. I experimented with switching my foods up a bit and eating back my exercise calories.0 -

Completely happy with that given my easter eating habits - now fully back on wagon exercising and logging daily
Anyone who's lost any weight this week has done well. And if you've put a bit on, there's always next week to get back on track...0 -
Yes, holidays do have their consequences. I'm actually happy to have only gained .5 after a roller coaster ride with the Easter Bunny. I'm not alone and that is reassuring. So, like others, April is pretty much a bust for me but I'm in the groove and hope to have made progress by Memorial Day. I'm ramping up the weight lifting, I'm a new squat aficionado--these old legs are feeling it!
So, let's all shake it off and buckle down. Summer is upon us (I heard they have something called Spring up north), log those nibbles, up your exercise 10% and drink more water. Get on the wagon, it's time to go.

Well, Passover really set me back some but I was able to lose most of it since. I guess the faster you gain, the faster you lose is also true. I managed to lose 3 pounds this week for a net loss of 2 for the challenge.0 -

Even though we celebrated Easter we ate out and I was able to make great choices as Applebee's has a great 550 calorie menu. We did not have any candy around so I was very fortunate in that regards.
We are ready to march into May!!0 -

Okay, my scale is acting bonkers. I think I need a new one. It keeps telling me low battery even when I give it a new battery, and seems to have multiple personalities where double-checking a weight will give you a wildly different result. (Once I had a reading of 192 and once 194 -- 193.6 appeared twice in a row at the end so we are taking that as the "average" weight).0 -

I'm late to the game here, I'm new to MFP in general - only about 3 weeks in - and I have just figured out how to actually access the boards, haha. I'll use my weight for this week:
Original SW: 245 (post baby delivery! gestational diabetes....)
Challenge SW: 163.1
CW: 163.1
It's heartening to see I'm not the only one having a rough post-Easter week. I am in a big transition period at the moment, moving away from breastfeeding & weight watchers to MFP & gradually moving towards and insulin resistance diet. I have also been both injured AND sick, with pneumonia, and am still recovering. Looking forward to the coming weeks - the weather should improve and so should my weigh in #'s0 -
Welcome Rachael. Glad to have you here.0

Glad to finally be down a little. Decided to do a mini challenge each day and am hoping that helps! I'm finding it very difficult as I am in the normal weight range and need to find the motivation to add more strength training. I bought new pants, I was sure they fit while I was in the dressing room. I wore them today and I needed a belt. I hope I can shrink them in the dryer.
April munching, brings May crunching!!!
Rachel, glad to have you with us. Buckle your seatbelt, you're in for a crazy ride with us. I think we're, MFP's Comedy Central!!!0 -

I was hoping for a 5 pound loss, but I can't say I gave it a big enough effort to lose 5 pounds. I am happy with the 2 pound loss, but I need to make more of an effort. Hello May.....Im ready to step it up a notch.0 -

Not as much wt. loss as I'd hoped for for the month, but I lost, so I shouldn't complain, right? And considering that it was Passover, a 0.2 lb. wt. loss wasn't too bad for the week. At least I didn't gain. I tried to steer clear of the matzoh and the brisket! I agree w/Mule: time to kick up the exercise a little more!
Have a great week everyone!0 -

I'm still figuring out what works best for me...and coming off Atkins has done a number on me.
But I think I have a better handle on it now, and I'm working towards making smarter decisions.
Hope everyone else is having better sucess!0 -

Passover was definitely a challenge. I was pretty good until the last two days. And then I just lost it. I like the Matzah too much to stay away from it.
Oh well, it's over and back to the healthy eating.0 -
Sorry guys. Missed this weigh in due to a death in the family. Will be back though. Keep going strong,0
