Hello,
Just a note to my fellow OAs, that life is good as I start this journey - embracing a new life, new ways of being, all though the love of my higher power, Christ. I think anything good is possible through Christ.
You know weight lose is not that hard, but maintaining weight lose and and life that supports weight lose is hard - at least for me. I guess I want to shed my skin figuratively and literally. And so, I will. I feel very positive tonight.
I have to have a new life schedule, a new relationship with myself and world/people around me.
Wish me luck, and luck to all of us on this path.

Hi Maradot, welcome to the boards!
You will definitely need to seek your higher power in this program, as we humans cannot handle this addiction on our own and through the 12 steps you will have many discoveries. Tackling this disease will take a lot of emotional work and soul searching. The program does work if you put forth the effort.0
