Dinos - I am always impressed by how well you do. I enjoy your posts.  I am jealous of where you run at but I guess you have bad weather there every once in awhile as well.

I am inspired by all the people on this site. Keep it up folks.

Thanks Dean. Jokes do not always translate well from greek to english and I need to watch what I'm saying to avoid misunderstandings. Luckily I haven't had that many awkward moments so far.

Wikipedia says that Athens gets 87 rainy days a year (vs 178 in Kallispell), it hardly ever snows and the average annual temperature is 73F (vs 40F in MT). Makes me feel a little guilty being so priviledged weather-wise, but I'll get over it

Back from vacation and sad that April has gone so quick but ready to jump in for May. Need to start training hard as race is only 7 weeks away :noway:

Aiming to do 150km but if my training is on track, hopefully I will do way above that.

    Starting off the month:
    Thurs May 1 - 10km bike

Drizzly dull lday in western Michigan, but we were in the athletic club for most of the morning.
I'm starting May with 5.8 miles on the treadmill and recumbent bike; worked off 434 calories which will make for a nice glass of wine with dinner tonight!

    Month to date = 5.8

I'm so sunburned. The sun came out today but I've been riding in the wind/rain/cloudy weather for so long I didn't even think about sunblock. BAD MISTAKE!!!!!

Adding another 31 miles for 51 out of 400.

Dinos - I read your post to my wife. She and I were both laughing out loud (LOL). Now I think she is jealous of your weather too. In my defense of living in Montana, we got up to 75 today and now I'm sunburned. The sun does shine every once in awhile.  Here's what it looks like on a good day. Sorry the picture didn't turn out better. The original is much better. Yes, this is where I was biking on Thursday.
