Gah, horrible week. ToM, bad food choices and some niggly sore muscles and injuries that put bad to exercise for most of the week. However went for a run last night and am back to logging. Feeling positive about May, aim to be under 147 by the end of the month - I know I can do it if I log all my food and exercise daily...

Gained 1.6 this week. Bummer. Passover catching up with me finally? Not enough walking? (The weather has been really unpredictable down here in the Southeast.) Still, I've logged almost 18 miles in the last week, though only in four walks--do need to get out more often! My wellness coach from the insurance company (???) suggested increasing intensity of exercise--but I can't due to a medical condition--or varying the number of calories I eat from day to day. So I guess I'll try the latter in hopes that I both lose the 1.6 lbs and break past the 205 I seem to be stuck at. And it's time to get out there and walk! Rain or shine!

    Have a great week everyone!!!!

I do not know why the gain - other than having the Ham soup for a number of meals - maybe more salt than I thought. But - This too shall pass!

I'm very happy with this week's weigh in. I have actually stopped tracking calories. I'm giving myself a tester period to see if I can maintain for a bit without tracking. It helps a whole lot that I eat the same thing for breakfast, lunch, and snacks everyday and I am keeping up with all of my workouts. I will continue not tracking for a couple more weeks to see what happens and then I will go from there.

    Have a nice weekend!!

Two pound loss this week and its about time. I was actually a pound lower so I may be in a new lower "trading range" for you stock market types. I am definitely thinner, I can see it. My middle son told me I'm starting to get abs. I've always had abs but they were well insulated (R19 or so). I've been working on squats lately, trying to ease into it. I can feel it in my knees so I'm being cautious.

Interesting results for the week coming in. Shaky again astounds with a 7 pound loss in a week--crazy amazing. KMasz is getting so small that she will need to start paying attention to wind conditions for her own safety. Momma is on the verge of hitting the 130's, I can feel it!! For those with bounces this week--just stay with it, we all get our turns with highs and lows.

I note Shmu has added another cool feature to the summary tab, green for on or ahead of pace, red for a lagging pace. It's a good feedback mechanism, I need to take it up a notch to get to green. As a former USAF pilot it reminds me of the lights you see on final approach to a runway, if you see red you need to pull the nose up and add some power. Let's throttle up and make May a big success!!

It looks like some of the weight I gained over Passover was salt related. Looking back I now realize that I did consume lots of salt. This led to a great 6 pound loss for the week!

With the great weather we've been having here (NYC), I started walking quite a bit. I also got myself a bike (first one I've owned as an adult). I went out for my first ride last night (flat 5 miles) and really enjoyed it. I hope to supplement my running with my new found hobby.

Darn lucky to have stayed the same this week. I'm extremely tired, all the time. I sit down to log my food or check in on friends and I fall asleep. I've got to start drinking coffee or find a way to add 8 or 9 more sleeping hours to my day! Zzzz...sorry, I just dozed off, again.

Have you had your blood work done lately? I get like that when my iron or vit d is low.

+1 You can't assume this isn't the first sign of an underlying problem. I know this from experience. :(

Obviously, my weight is all over the place. I had a good week eating and exercising, but I obviously did not lose 7 actual lbs. I'm down 4 lbs for the challenge, which is the bigger issue. Heading into the heart of May feeling stronger.

My weight was up...again... I just started 30 day shred so I'm hoping to see some losses over the coming weeks. I've also been doing better on my diet and water.

Lost 1 pound this weight in for a total of 3 pounds. I didn't work that hard in April. I sometimes worked out and I sometimes made good food choices. I am happy for Aprils 2 pound loss , but I decided to push myself in May and see what happens. So far I have gone to the track twice a day instead of once, and Im walking at a fast pace (even trying to jog a little). Yesterday I added some strength training, and I am making good food choices. I know May has just began, but I hope I stay strong. There will be challenges like 3 birthdays this month and mother's day.....but ... Im going to try to stay strong....I have to do it for me.

This morning when I weighed I had lost those 2 lb with which I have been struggling. The day after weigh-in.
But at least they were gone!!
