I am wondering how people re measuring their ketones to such a precise measurement. I have urine strips that I use that indicate how high my levels are, but only through color coding. Is there another methodology to measure ketones other than the sticks?

Also, how do you measure leptin ( i think that is how you spell it ) and what does it tell me?

Thanks in advance - I really have been enjoying the posts.

I measure my ketones with the blood strips, using a meter, (precision Xtra is the one I use) but the strips are super expensive. I've heard the urine strips are not accurate and often reflect dehydration when the color is deeper on them.

As far as Leptin, I have no idea if you can measure that, I've never heard anyone talking about it on here or on keto fb groups.

Testing leptin is expensive, I do once in 3-4 months and I order it from directlabs.com because it expensive to go through a doctor. Intact for most of my blood and urine test I use them directly.
