    On obesityhelp.com there was a thread were everybody posted what they named their new stomach. They came up with some clever names.

    My tum has a variety of names... "The Ruler" - because it rules my life, but more often it's "Mabel Harry". Mabel - Madea Simmons and Harry - as in "Dirty Harry".

    For a while, I think Madea and & Dirty Harry were living in my stomach... I have moments when my brain says, "That plate isn't empty yet... you can eat those (insert food). And then I would hear,

    Madea - "Oh, look at that! The punk is feelin' lucky! Hallelujurr"
    Dirty Harry - "Don't try to make her day kid..."

    And the inner dialogue would continue. More often than not, it made me laugh and forget that I wanted that last bit of whatever.
