My Name is Monique, and I had WLS on 8/22/2022. I lost a total of 48 pounds, and then I stopped. I have been eating right, and I have added exercise. Maybe the meager calories are the reasons why I haven't made progress. I am trying to exercise regularly and I am getting in shape. I am trying to focus on the positives.

In October 2011 I was 386lbs. I was on oxygen and in a wheelchair. The doctor told me I had 5 to 10 years left because of my emphysema. Skin Surgery
At my WLS Doc 2yr Post Op he said I am a good Candidate for skin removal called a Panniculectomy/Trunkplasty. My insurance will pay due to medically necessary. I have constant infection in my skin flaps. Has anyone done this? If so, was it worth it? Any input would be appreciated. Thanks
