My husband and I are going on a trip, and tonight we're going to have a quiet night in the hotel room. He is going to get take-out pizza. I need to come up with something I can easily get for MY supper but I am drawing a blank. I'm currently thinking maybe curry (without rice) but I'm not excessively enthused over that.
Bonus consideration - I'm gluten intolerant and I don't like chicken
any suggestions?

bacon cheeseburger, no bun, on lettuce leaves.
if he's ordering Italian, try sausage and peppers, hold the pasta.
i tried eating just the toppings off a pizza and it was just not worth it.
Chines: egg foo young, hold the sauce.
there are always options!0 -
Most pizza places have salads, too. Order a chef salad w/ extra ham and cheese and a nice creamy, fatty dressing (bleu cheese?).0

Curry can have diced potatoes and carrots sometimes, so just don't eat those pieces.
I just returned from a trip with my family. My daughter is gf too.
When we went out to eat, I had:
-steak with arugula salad
-hamburger with just the meat, lettuce and tomatoes
-chili without the rice or cornbread
-ham/cheese slices rolled up
-chicken salad
-tuna salad0 -
Like the others said, burgers with no buns on lettuce are great!
Egg or chicken salad on lettuce (or ultra low-carb wrap IIFYM) were among my favorites.
Good luck!0 -
My meals when I travel, which 4 days a week look like this.
1. Salad in cafeteria with veggies and grilled chicken, olive oil,Mayo and 1 heavy cream iced latte.
2. Dinner is a steak or sea food like fish, shrimp + heavy cream latter.
I usually get my fat from heavy cream latte in star bucks, the rest can be steak, burgers, salads or what ever as long as they are low in carbs.0 -
Above suggestions are great. I do:
Bunless Burgers
Caesar Salad with whatever meat choice you can get and no croutons
Salad (Cobb)
You can definitely get a pizza and not eat the crust, just get lots of toppings.
Try to make it fun0
