Oh, Please don't be embarrassed! I love it! It's a weird in, not a weigh in. That *feels* so much better!!! Much less intimidating!

Ugh, I have been traveling since the end of April, first for work and then a two week vacation in Peru. Machu Picchu is amazing! I never do particularly well trying to limit my calorie intake while traveling and this time was no exception. I am back though, and plan to be more consistent with both diet and exercise.

Ok, had a good week of self-denial in the kitchen and self-abuse at the gym. Lowered my low water mark by two more pounds, after last week's bounce that's a -4 for this week. I'm one-pound from my challenge goal which also is my final MFP goal weight as well. I need to start reading up on maintenance, this is where it gets hard. "To eat or not to eat, that is the question" Of course I'll eat, it's how to manage the normal flux on the scale. I'm getting mixed feedback on my appearance too, yesterday my boss's boss said I look good, this morning my wife said I look gaunt. I'm hoping to stay "thin" and let my skin and those around me adjust to my lower BMI.
I'm happy to observe others are coming in with good losses as well. Keep going everyone, summer has started and that bikini is calling. One pound at a time, short term mini-goals and the discipline to get back on the wagon after a moment of weakness are the keys to success.
Going into a three-day Memorial Day weekend here in the USA, it's a time for BBQ's and the like, cheeseburgers are beautiful and evil. Enjoy!

I love Weird in- May 23rd!! So I finally found a workout that I am enjoying T25!! 25-35 minutes in the morning and I actually lost 3 pounds this week. I was shocked when I got on the scale because I ate badly this week... So I am going to have to work out my missed workouts this weekend so I can even out all the food and junk!! fingers crossed!!
I am not, however, enjoying this part of the story...I am working to dig myself out of it. I log in to MFP every day and quietly observe everyone's progress. So I'm encouraged. Keep on keeping on my MFP friends!! :drinker:0 -
I'm weirding- in. (BTW - I love it. It is the only reason I posted to the board).
It is my TOM so the scale is very unfriendly to me this morning. It can't decide if I'm up 1 or 2 pounds. So I guess after three tries I'm up 2 lbs this weigh in.
The good news is that I am getting in plenty of exercise and generally have been eating reasonably, if even it hasn't all been awesomely under. I am really focusing on strength training and my core with the hope that my belly fat will finally decide to reduce in inches (which at this point is more important to me than scale change -- I need inches gone from my weirdly huge belly).0 -
Weirding in... but I didn't weigh myself yet.. Will be back to post weight :P0

No loss this week:grumble: Actually a small gain:sad: I've never exercised so much or as consistently as I have the past 2 weeks. Admittedly there were a couple of fast food meals I'm now regretting(though still a lot less than I used to eat out) but I have to learn how to deal with them because they're a part of my lifestyle at this point in my life and I need to try to lose in spite of them.0

As expected, a 1 pound loss for me. I haven't been running much lately as I'm spending lots of time with my bike. The plan is to get back to running more in June.
Looks like 1 pound a week is the new normal for me. At this point I'm satisfied with that.0 -

I love the Weird-In, it's fitting for me this week. I am happy to have maintained because I'm trying to repair my metabolism and that requires me to up my calories which has me freaking out a bit. So far so good. I guess trying to lose weight while I do this is looking for major mental abuse because of my love/hate relationship with the scale. However, weighing in weekly keeps me accountable and helps me keep the added calories to very clean ones otherwise who wouldn't want to add 300 calories with a small slab of cake! LOL Have a great weekend everyone!0

Down 1 pound this week. Which I am thrilled because with all my attempts to lose weight I have never made it down to 135, and today I did. Every pound I lose now will be another victory for me!0
