It's getting a lot harder

i'm really close to my goal weight, about 25lbs to go now, initially I needed to lose 130lbs. In the last week or so I have noticed that it's getting a lot harder to stay on plan. I went on vacation and switched to the one meal per day option and now I really really want to eat regular food. I'm really trying to stay focused on the end goal but it's a lot harder. It doesn't help that I feel pretty good about my body now too so I don't think I have as much motivation. I really want to get to my goal weight though. I'm back on 3 shakes per day and am really hoping that I can stay on track until July 1st when I start realimentation.

From reading your story about you and your husband on the plan and the what you have both accomplished.
Hang in there you are so close to goal and the maintenance plan is just a short time away.
Stay focused you can do this - honestly your story has kept me focused on wanting to do this plan as well.
Lean on us - vent on these boards - you can get there!!!!0 -
Agree with Joy D!!!! Totally understand feeling great about how you look and focus is harder!!!! But don't stop now!!!! It will be soooo worth it! I am talking to myself as much as directing to you! You are an inspiration!!!!! I ate the emergency meal a couple of times while out of town last week - went to a wedding reception and drank water. Getting through one day at a time is my goal. Staying the course and expecting the results of the EFFORTS!
You go girl!!! We are here for each other. Thanks for posting real feelings!!!! :drinker: :drinker: :drinker:0 -
Thanks ladies! I've stuck to the program since I wrote this initial post. I am still allowed to have one meal from the list if I want so a couple days I had that, but otherwise all shakes. My husband and I signed up for a program called Bodyfit at our gym, like boot camp. It's really tough and definitely requires me to eat an extra packet or two as suggested by the exercise physiologist at my clinic. I'm super sore today. I'm going to be ramping up the intensity of my exercise over the next month as I prepare for realimentation on July 1st.0

This is what I am worried about. For me, it will be once I start eating real food, I don't know if I can control it.0 -

I don't think it would be so bad if I have more than 200 cal to use and more than 15 foods to choose from. It gets a little old and bland to eat the same things over and over. I can make healthy meals no problem, well really that's the problem. I want to make myself healthy meals that taste good but they are more than 200 cal and not on my 15 item food list so I can't have them. I'll be happy once I am back to my normal paleo diet in July.0
