Hi there I am having a lap band on June 27th, eeekkkk..... I am looking for some friends to help me along my journey.... :)

    I will be your friend! I was banded nov 30 2012. I have lost 68 lbs. would like to lose about 20 more. I haven't regretted the band one minute! I hadn't lost an ounce in years and was only going up. The band has really helped me to see how much I was really eating.
    I had a bad wreck in sept 2013. I had 2 broken legs and a broken foot. I never did have the band unfilled. I probably should have. but I didn't really have any problems from it. My weight loss would probably be more if I hadn't had the wreck. I am back at work now, so I am trying to get the weight loss rolling again. Good luck to you. Message me with any questions.     I was banded Jan 28th of this year. It's taken effort and I'm not in the green zone-yet! Add me to your friend list please. You will need support after because unlike RnY and Sleeve surgery, your will be much slower loss and even stall out at about 3-4 weeks. Be patient with yourself and remember to stay in contact with your surgeon and nutritionist. I'm cheering you on!
