Right, so my days typically run from 4:30 a.m.-8:30 p.m., which means that if I eat dinner with my family (I live with my parents and sister), I'm typically eating a large meal no more than two, two and a half hours before bed, which from everything I've read and heard is just the worst thing you can do. So, my thinking is, I might take a page out of a hobbit's book and rearrange my meal schedule.

So basically, instead of eating breakfast, lunch, and dinner, I'd do breakfast (which is usually obscenely early), a mid-late morning "second breakfast" / brunch, and then an early-mid afternoon lunch, so my calories are being consumed early in the day when they can still be used, rather than right before I go to bed! Then if I feel the need for something later in the day, I can always grab a piece of fruit or a handful of nuts and join my family at dinner with my own little snack for the socializing :)

Does this sound crazy or feasible?

I think it sounds doable, especially for an early schedule. I'm in the mindset that if it works for you then do it! Doesn't matter what works for others, you just have to do right by you.

    Good luck!

Meal timing doesn't matter at all. Eating 2 hours before bed is fine. Just do what works for you.

Meal timing is irrelevant to weight loss. It's personal preference. I eat over 800 calories like an hour or less before bed without any hindrance to my weight loss. Do what works best for you, schedule-wise.
