What have your biggest challenges been?

I need to get better about eating fruits and veggies. I particularly hate veggies. Like, I came home from the gym tonight and sat down and ate a serving of broccoli and a serving of celery. It was torture. Eating a salad at lunch or a side serving of veggies is no big deal, but holy crud I hate eating veggies at home. Blech.

To me it's stress management. I'm a stress eater and I've actually gained weight since I've been engaged instead of losing it :( I'm glad this group was created, though. I'll start tracking my food intake and exercise. Accountability is key! haha

I am definitely a stress eater. I've gained about 20lbs since I started my job, and it's extremely difficult to have the motivation to eat healthy. I would rather have a whole pizza than a measly salad. My wedding is in September, and now I'm starting to feel the pressure. I'm actually really worried that my dress won't fit! I'm currently on a meal plan, which helps me not stress eat as I have set meals/snacks. I'm also really bad at working out - hate it. I used to be able to work out whenever I wanted, but with my current job, I'm too exhausted at the end of the night to go to the gym. I have a treadmill sitting in my apartment gathering dust and cat hair.... Right now, I'm just using workout DVDs (Power 90), which has been slowly helping me work out again.

    Accountability is definitely key! :)

Edit: Wine. Definitely wine. I love a good glass of wine, so reducing my alcohol intake has been tough.

The weekends! Holy crap! I eat perfect weeks and then allow myself a little bit of lenience on the weekends, but i always go overboard. Controlling the weekends will help me maintain/lose

The biggest challenge is that my partner and his brother (lives with us) eat differently from me so we're always having to either make 2 different meals or one of us is eating something we didn't choose. I usually just end up eating smaller portions of what they eat but it makes grocery shopping very frustrating. They are also impossible to organize in regards to making a meal plan for the week, even if I make one getting them to follow it is next to impossible.
