    Good Morning

I did a little search this morning for inspirationals and was going to start us some new days but I don't see anywhere that you can add a picture from. There are no "insert" options or whatnot. I'm thinking they are only there for the moderators?

So yesterday ended up being a no exercise day, but I won't say rest day. lol I spent the afternoon cleaning our travel trailer that we are planning to sell. Sad to sell it, but we really won't be using it now. We bought it when the kids were smaller and now they are all growed up! So I am still not finished out there, everything needs to come out and be put somewhere. ugh

I am hoping to get for a run this morning, its a beautiful day so it shouldn't be a problem, doesn't look like there is even a breath of wind. Now that my hubbys lobster season is over he will be running and biking again too. Its always a bit motivating to have someone else doing it too.

PS....I figured out how to post images...so never mind that first paragraph!

    Good Morning Everyone!

Funny that you're selling your trailer, maureli, as most of my friends are looking forward to buying a trailer when they retire, so I've always thought of it as a "when you don't have the kids around any more" sort of purchase. But I guess it's more of a change of lifestyle thing.

Don't know what I'm going to do today as far as exercise. I'm a little stiff, but Wednesday and Thursday are likely to be low exercise days, so I don't want to waste tonight when I can get something done. Tomorrow I'm planning my run to the trainer workout and back, so that should cover both cardio and strength work. This means that today I could do either or both if I choose. Maybe I'll just do a little of both as a recovery sort of thing.

Hope everyone is having a great day!

Maureen, adding images is a little tricky, but easy once you get the hang of it. You have to find an image online (width limit is 500) and get the link to it. Then you put a bracket and "img" end bracket, paste the link, and follow it by bracket forward slash (/) and "img" (no quotes) and end bracket.

I'll put an image here and if you push the "quote" button, it will take you to a message with my message embedded and you will see the codes the way I have done it.

Again, it's [ img ] then the link, then [ /img ] (but without the spaces that I just put).

Donna, congrats on the half!! That's great!. I wanna try but am still too chicken. haha. With the weather getting hot & with our travel plans in July & August, I just might wait til Fall.

So the plan was the gym today, but I had an errand to run before 3:30 and after it had to drop something off at home, so I just walked it instead of the bus and got a pretty good walk in. About to head out to pick son up now (will walk again). Will save the gym for tomorrow.

    Have a good one!

Donna after running the HM yesterday I probably wouldn't recommend running today, especially since that's a lot further than you've ever run before. Maybe go for a good walk instead to loosen up your muscles, do some yoga, or some kind of low or non-impact cardio (elliptical, rowing machine, etc.).

Maureen hope you are able to get out for a run & enjoy the nice day!

Sherry your life sounds crazy busy, but you always manage to get a lot of walking in! Keep that body moving!

It's cold & raining here today. My allergies are kind of kicking my butt so mostly I want to bed in bed under my blanket napping. The rain & overcast skies are doing nothing to change that feeling. I have a trainer session after work tonight.

Beautiful, beautiful day here in Montreal today! I'm not inspired to go inside to the gym, so will walk over the mountain to where I stay when I'm in the city (I live about 85 miles away, in the middle of nowhere, but work in the city some days). It's a good 90 minute walk, with nice steep bits and out of the traffic for the most part. I'll try to do some planks and other useful stuff somewhere during the afternoon too.

I'm meeting a new trainer, hopefully tomorrow, to see if I can get some re-inspiration going. I need some new goals!

    have a gorgeous Monday.

Today I just walked. After dinner the dogs and I took off and did some geocaching again. We were out for about 2.5 hours. We found two and couldn't find one. The one we couldn't find was marked very hard though, so perhaps if I try again later I might figure it out. We paralleled my running route through a lot of it so I know that we covered at least 3 miles, probably a mile or two more with all the woods walking we did.

We sold our old motorhome 4 years ago when gas went crazy and joined affordable travel club, sort of a trade b & b for folks over 40.

I think we miss it but not the gas prices!

Swam again...the norm for me lately.

Going back to Nia tomorrow. Shoulder is better.

    Your walk sounds nice, jugar...

Donna - Well done on the HM! Definitely give your body to recover. You'll find yourself refreshed and stronger both physically and mentally for whatever is ahead! :)

Sherry - I love Calvin and Hobbes! My daughter (who's 6) spends most of her time browsing through our collections. ;)

Those of you with beautiful days, I'm green with envy! this is the time of year that sucks for those of us in the desert. Today was a heat advisory...hit 111. Of course, once summer is in full swing that will be the norm and the excessive heat will hit well into the 120s. :(. So my running and biking is either indoors or at around 4 in the morning.

Slept straight through my alarm this morning. Missed my bike...but still got my lifting in tonight. So packing it in tomorrow. We have our comicon this weekend so won't get as much in this weekend. tomorrow will be intense. A trail run, a quick swim...and a bike tomorrow night if I'm still up for it. :)

In honor of my swim tomorrow...

...and of course it cropped the pic funny...it's supposed to say "Swimming is a confusing sport, because sometimes you do it for fun, and other times you do it to not die"
