will NSAIDs impede progress?

hi gals -- i've been wondering this for a while. If we build muscle due to inflammation, then does taking an anti-inflammatory during recovery hurt our progress?
most of the time the pain after a work out is mild and a mostly-pleasant reminder of what i've accomplished, but when it's more serious it's useful to be able to take something.
I feel like i should know this, i'm in medical school, but i guess we didn't have this class!

I've had the same thought. I found this abstract: http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/23013520
Basically occasional use probably isn't going to make a difference but if you're on a daily dose it could.0 -
And this article is very detailed: http://www.t-nation.com/free_online_article/most_recent/do_pain_pills_impair_muscle_growth0
