    Wt. loss in April: 4.0
    Wt. loss in May: 3.6
    Wt. loss in June: -2.4

I think (I hope) it's a sodium situation. Tuesday this week I weighed 199.4. I've been fairly careful about calories, but not watching the salt. I had a few chips one day, and soup made with Better than Bouillon last night. I also haven't been walking enough, it's true. I've only got 13 miles logged this week so far.

Plan: 1) Tons of water/less salt. 2) At least 12 more miles through Sunday. 3) Continue at the gym (just started this week).

I sure hope everyone else's week was more productive than mine was. And that next week we all meet our goals for the week!

Ugh, what a week. I've been struggling this week, my hip hurts (TFL on the right side is sore) so I can't run more than 20-30 minutes versus 65-70. That puts a real strain on my calorie burn. Plus, being down in the my last 5 pounds to lose, it's a real struggle to not cheat. The mind lets you rationalize ANYTHING when it wants to keep those last few pounds. I found a few posts on this subject in the maintenance section, lots of folks have trouble in this stage so I'm feeling better about it. This week my goal is to focus on weight training and rest my hip. This will require eating a lot less in order to keep my net calories on track. I will be eating out of measuring cups and weighing everything this week--mental reset in progress.

I notice a lot of folks in the red zone, time for the sprint to the finish. Less then a month to go--make it count!!

Today I'm down by half a pound. I'm flirting with breaking into the 180s and it can't come soon enough.

Weight training might do awesome things for your shape, but it slows down your traditional weight loss as you are converting fat to muscle rather than losing.

This most recent loss puts me in the 60 pounds down category -- 15 to go.

I'm not sure I like the comparison to previous challenges feature of the spreadsheet. We all know how much faster weight comes off when you have more to lose than when you are whittling down the last few pounds at the end. It is just not possible to maintain as high of a deficit as your TDEE decreases. However, if it is based on percentage of goal lost, then I withdraw my comment as 40% of goal is about the same thing if you are attempting to lose 25 early on or 10 at the end.

Would you believe I forgot to weigh this morning :noway:
I am reporting yesterday's weight - but I bet I was up this morning as I had a 'binging' night last night. So, I must set one of my goals for June to be: NO EATING AFTER 9:00, period! OK it is time I pulled up my big girl pants and get with this! No more playing around the margins!

I hope everybody has had a great week!!

    We are onward and downward!!

Today I was at 187.8. A loss from last week, a loss overall, but I'm still working on getting into the 170's before this challenge is over. Every time I get down much lower than this, I end up binging and sabotaging myself. Not sure how to remedy this as I know it's mental. Taking it one day at a time.

Well, I won't make it to my goal of 140 lb for this challenge, but at least things are now moving in the right direction. I have been much more conscious of portion sizes and of avoiding processed foods and I think it's paying off.

    Start weight: 155.6
    Current weight: 155.4
    Goal for challenge: 140

    4/11: 154.2 (-1.4)
    4/18: 155.4 (+1.2)
    4/25: 153.8 (-1.6)
    Unable to weigh in 5/2, 5/9, 5/18
    5/23: 154.4 (+0.6)
    5/30: 155.4 (+1.0)
    6/6: 153.8 (-1.6)

    Total for April: -1.8
    Total for May: +1.6
    Total for June: -1.6

    Total overall: -1.8

    Have a good week everyone!

I'm down .2 which is not much at all, however, I was up earlier this week so I was hoping for a maintain, at most, I'm glad it came off. I have been working long hours and not able to get a daily workout in, it's really messing with my mental state! My goal for this coming week is to get in some form of exercise everyday!

    4/4: 129
    4/11: 129 (0)
    4/18: 129 (0)
    4/25: 127 (-2)

    May:
    5/2: 127 (0)
    5/9: 127 (0)
    5/16: 127 (0)
    5/23: 127 (0)
    5/30: 127 (0)

    June:
    6/6: 127 (0)

Hoping to get back on track now that school's out. Blood sugar has been giving me a little trouble and having to eat to raise it. I need to make some adjustments to basal insulin rates and tighter adjustments for exercise. It is definitely harder to lose these last few lbs.

No loss for a few weeks now. ugh.

I do this every single time.

We've been having way too many sweets and fast food. Hubby's staples in life. :D and yet he stays 170 at 6'3"

I've been absent here on MFP over the last couple of days due to the Jewish holiday of Shavuot. As most Jewish holidays, this one too features lots of great food. In addition to the standard meals of fish, meat and wine, cheese products are also an important part of the holiday. Yes. Cheesecake, and all high calorie, high fast sweet stuff. I allowed myself quite a bit and don't regret it for a second. But now I gotta work out off. Since I managed to exercise right before the holiday and today, I was able to keep the damage to a 1 pound gain. With a bit more exercise, I should be able to get it back in a couple of days.

PS this is also the reason for the rest of my consecutive day count.

This week was a 1 pound gain. It seems like Im maintaining my weight. I need to up the exercise and Im thinking of maybe not worrying about the calorie intake but focus more on healthy eating? I'll see how it goes this week.

    06/13 =
    06/20 =
    06/27 =
June total = 1.0 lb loss

It's a bit lower from the previous weeks, but still within my range of normal weight fluctuations. I've adjusted my calories and reduced them by 125, so hopefully I'll start to see a slight difference in the next couple weeks. I won't be making my goal weight, but I can try to get as close as possible!
