I have looked up a bunch of info on this hot sauce and found areas that say its paleo. The ingredients look in order but i don't wanna miss something if I am...

Cayenne Pepper and a unique blend of hot peppers, garlic, vinegar and other spices is the ingredients list.

Any help would be appreciated! gettin started here on the Paleo has been fun but I am a guy who loves condiments, my homemade ketchup was good but I want more spice :)

Other spices I would find suspicious..it means they are hiding something from you and chances are,it's not something good :(

I don't know about that particular hot sauce, but I make my own. There are lots of recipes out there if you're interested =)

I would try their web site to see if they give more clarity on the spices. And wow, your first post and you've been on here for a year... Welcome

Thanks for the welcome! I have been using the app for a year and just discovered the forum :)

I called Gator Hammock and left a msg. Hopefully they will reply by phone or email with some clarity (i know one of the ingredients is celery as I can taste it on the palate at times). I would love to see some of your favorite recipes hookilau!

There are many additives that can be hidden in all kinds of ways such as "natural seasoning/flavours" etc. If the label isn't specific then I know they are hiding something. Most hot sauces I have seen have acceptable ingredients. I haven't seen that brand so perhaps it's not sold in Canada.

Good idea to contact the manufacturer.

Unless you are using a TON of sauce I would not worry too much about it.

Gator Hammock called me back and confirmed the entire recipe. (not measurements hehehe)

The only thing she listed that was not on the label was crushed red peppers and celery. She said it has no MSG and no Sugar added and it is all natural. So it looks to be completely paleo friendly!

    Cheers mates!

Generally if it says "spices" that is what it will contain. If it is hidden ingredients to be wary of it will say "natural flavors/sesonings". The word spices is more specific so it should be only a blend of actual spices and not junk.
