Morning!
I am going to spend the day doing stuff around the house, maybe some yard work and maybe pay a few bills. Exercise will be tonight, going to make it to my cardio/strength class. Might do a few strength things throughout the day with my hand weights, but I usually don't like to do too much because you never know what to expect from these classes.0 -
I did my run this morning. 3 miles with just a few speed intervals in the middle (four 1 minute speed intervals with 2 minute recovery intervals). The first and last mile felt endless but the middle one with the intervals went by fast. It's my off week from Pilates so I get the evening off! I'll probably mow the lawn.0

Yesterday was kind of a rest day because I did a good bit of rucking on Sunday. Yesterday evening I did a 75 minute hot yoga class. Overall, it was a pretty good relaxing day with some stretching at yoga.0

Today is my trainer workout. Normally I really look forward to this, but this week is predicted to be hot. It's supposed to still be 90F at 7 pm when the workout starts. I'm still going to run there though. The workout itself is inside and air conditioned, but I'm not sure how well as it's never been this hot when I've gone there.
So I'm going to run, run slow, both to and from the workout and see how it goes. Each way is only a mile and a half. This is definitely as much or more of a mental problem for me than a physical one.0 -
Did Nia today....just a lot of walking yesterday during errands.
I have huge pile of clothes on bed. Twice a year i move out either long sleeve or spaghetti strap into my shirts I keep t-shirts year round. I got really into it and now drawers and hope chest moved all long pants to bottom summer on top.
Quite the motivator today!!! :laugh:0 -
Hi all. Quick stop by. Had the kids all day and Dh had to work late ("I'll be home in 30 minutes" x3) which put me eating late and belly being too full to run or go to the gym. :-( Very disappointing. So, I had some shopping to do (for books & activities for the kids during our trip), so I took a loooooong walk to the mall and back. Feet are tired. I'm tired. Only thing NOT tired are the kids, who are both still awake now at midnight (its pretty hot tonight, so they are having trouble sleeping). Hopefully I'll get a better workout tomorrow.

A hot day even up here! Our first really hot one in a while. I did my intervals early, but then had a huge job disinfecting my daughter's place where we are keeping a very ill rescued cat who is making rather a mess of things... I kept overalls, gloves and the whole bit on so as not to get contaminated myself, and it was hotter than hot yoga! He is a sweetie, this cat, and I hope he appreciates all that we are going through to save his sorry self. Soon I hope he will not be quite so sorry... In any case, he helped me to burn off a lot of calories today!
