Weekly calorie goal.

Hi everyone. New to posting but a MFP member since 01/13 and have lost 30 lbs. I'm hoping someone could help me to understand what it means when under the topic "nutrition" on the MFP phone app. when you over or under your weekly calorie goal? What if the previous week, you had a horrendous diet week and back on track. Of course you be consuming less calories than the previous week Any feed back would be great. Thanks

    I don't use the phone app so I can't speak to any features in that regard.

    Having said that, your progress is going to be largely determined by your ability to adhere to your diet long-term. If you're near your calorie goal on average over the course of several months, good things will happen.

    Re the feature, I think that it gives you a rolling 7 day average.
