Hello All,
I just joined myfitnesspal, and I am having trouble matching the exercises to the MFP exercises in the data bank. When I type in DDP Yoga....nothing comes up. When I separate out the different segments of the yoga it does not allow for strength training and cardio at the same time. Any thoughts?

DDP Yoga isn't in the MFP database. If you're using a monitor, you can manually enter the information. If you're not using one, you'll need to estimate.0

If I'm logging, I just log it as yoga. However, different types of yoga burn different amounts and the MFP estimate seems to me to be at the lower end of the scale.0

According to my HRM, DDP Yoga burns about twice as many calories as the MFP estimates. But that is me. How well you are able to engage your muscles will have an impact on your calorie expenditure.0

I've found about the same.
If you're going by the book, you ought to have and wear an HRM so just plug its numbers in. I have no idea how accurate it is but my Polar watch has a yoga sport profile which I use to log the routines.0 -
I picked up a HRM to make sure I was engaging as I should... My average per 25 minute (ish) is about 250-300 cals if that's any help?0
