Sometimes the days you expect to have a bad run is when you have a great one. Went out expecting the worst today but felt great. The weather was part of it. Windy, looking like rain....I had strong headwind on the way out, but man...once I turned to come back it was great. Lol Anyway, got an 8Km run in.

Yesterday I had planned to go to my strength/cardio class but she cancelled it an hour before it was to start. Was very disappointed, so I did a JM workout in my basement.

    Hi everyone!

Sorry about the drivers license thing, Sherry. I feel for you. I once left for a dog event, 5 hours drive away, without my wallet. I didn't find out until an hour into the drive. To make it worse, that day my ez-pass (that is designed to automatically pay my tolls on the highway) stopped working (also my fault). So I'm stuck with no license, no money, and an hour from home on a toll road that I can't pay for. Missed the dog event. Not one of my best days, made worse because all of it was due to my mistakes.

Had a nice exercise day yesterday. Ran to the trainer workout. Had a substitute trainer, but she had instructions from my regular trainer on what I was to do. Then ran home. I was late getting started so I really ran as fast as I could for the mile and a half up there. Since there was no rush getting home last night and the later, the cooler, I stayed on the rowing machine longer than I usually do, and so got more time in. I'm pleased with my leg muscles in that I think that they are improving and will continue to improve, but not very happy with my arm strength, or lack of it. I like the rower because it's one of the few cardio machines that really also works my arms (and core).

Slept in this morning and didn't get to bootcamp. It's really hard to get myself up and out to something like that after having a workout the evening before. I might go to metobolic conditioning class tonight, or take a long walk with the dogs, or just take a rest day. I'm not sure, but have no plans to run.

Bummer Sherry home you get it soon. If it wasn't that you would have forgot something else, I always forget at least one thing but that is important!!!

I usually forget binoculars, every time I hike I go, if only I had brought those...

Speaking of hiking, leaving on 4 1/2 mile hike soon, its a pretty easy one, goes in a big loop around the river and beautiful trees way out into the forest from here. Mostly flat by the river and trees, I picked it because its one I can get husband to go on. He won't do the steep stuff.

Will come home and swim, thats my exercise for the day.

We all make mistakes… my husband accidentally threw his passport away three weeks before our honeymoon abroad!

All these hikes and classes and long runs sound very ambitious. My toddler woke me up at 3:30am in desperate, emergent need of cuddles. So I slept through my AM workout. I’m going to try and get in even a short walk today.

Pretty good eating planned for breakfast, lunch & snacks. My hubs wants to make BBQ chicken sand for dinner, not the worst thing in the world but not my top choice.

My former boss's husband was always forgetting something on international trips so she had me FedExing things to him all over the world. She learned to keep color photographs of his driver's license, passport, etc. because apparently for some things a copy was sufficient.

Glad you had a great run Maureen!

So Donna that day did you have to just turn around and go back home? Sounds like you had a great workout. I'm feeling much the same way about my muscles right now that you are. My leg muscles are actually quite strong right now but my upper body needs a lot of work. Now that my race is over my trainer and I are going to focus more on getting back to strength training, and I definitely want to get my upper body stronger as part of that.

    ^^^ strong legs!

I have a trainer session tonight & I need to get in a run. Didn't sleep well last night so I decided to run after work instead of this morning. I don't see my trainer until 7:00 so I have about an hour to kill once I get to the gym anyway. Might as well spend it running. It's cold here again today so no benefit in getting out early before it got warm.

maureli - i also thought i was going to have a bad time today and it ended up being good! i had a bad headache when i was going to do my yoga, and almost didn't do it. but then i thought, well, i can have a headache and do yoga, or have a headache and not do yoga, so...why not just do the yoga? headache went away within 5 minutes and i had a nice practice. did it later than usual today so i don't have to worry about the early afternoon exhaustion i've been getting (from being out of practice/shape i guess). end of the day at least i can unwind now and not worry about getting more work done.

Long day, I'll have to be brief.

    Day 4 USA,

    Calorie level: goal!
    Activity level: coma :frown:

Got some whey today because my protein level was disastrous. Good chance fedex will come thru for me tomorrow so I can hopefully hit the road, get settled, and find a local gym and running path! Fingers crossed
