Well this is no way to lead, I'm going backwards. Gained 3. I know I have been cheating a bit but I'm a bit perplexed as to why such a big gain. Some water no doubt. Well, I'll try to make my goal by the fourth, hopefully this big fail will keep me honest this week and prevent the weekend relaxation that has been taking its toll on my progress.

Congrats to Frayde who is now below 200! That was my favorite NSV.

Keep going.

Mule

Just realized I forgot to weigh in last week. It's not looking very good for this week. If I weigh in breaking even I'll be happy. I haven't been very good this week. Hopefully my few runs this week made up for it.
I'll weigh in when I get home.

I gained one this week after being down for five consecutive weeks. I'm probably going to fall a little short of my goal for this Challenge (as usual), but will give it my best this week!

Hi All! As Mule pointed out, I have finally achieved Onederland. Today is Day 6 of being less than 200. I figure if I can sustain it for a week, maybe it's real. Last time it only lasted 3 days, then I was back up in the low 200s again for a week or 10 days.

This challenge is surely winding down, and while I haven't reached my goal of 185 (BMI in the merely obese range at 29.9), it looks as though I will at least stay below 200 at last and for good. That is some good progress anyway!

It has been great making new friends with some of you, and maintaining friendships with others. So, has anyone thought about the next challenge yet???

So it wasn't as bad as I thought. I manag3d a 1 pound loss for the two weeks. At this rate I'll probably miss my challenge goal by 1 pound. But it definitely was fun and accomplished what we all wanted.

We have to think about the next challenge. Since many of us are reaching out goals, we will have to come up with something that focuses on maintenance and/or fitness/exercise.

    Any ideas?

Didn't weigh this week. I just got home today from a week long beach vacation! I'm sure the scale will be ugly tomorrow morning. Because of the timing of this vacation, I might very well be above my challenge goal by the 4th. I'll do my best!

I was at 165 this week. I'm hoping to get to 164 by next week, but this may be unrealistic as we've started fasting Ramadan and it will be hard to get my usual workouts/runs in.

    SW: 188
    New Year Weight: 183
    CSW: 162.5
    LW: 158
    CW: 155.5

No loss this week but I had some splurges at the drive-in movies and then again camping. I'm enjoying my summer and not worried if the weight is coming off slower. Yesterday I got a couple personal records at my lifting session. 100# on my squats and 95# on my deadlifts. I'm going to continue to try for strength gains and increase my cardio on my off days.
