Hi! Welcome to the group! I am 4 weeks and 3 days post surgery, and things are going really well for me. Since my surgery I have lost 20 pounds, and 50 pounds total. You said you have done a lot of research on this procedure, and that is such a good sign that you are prepared and ready to take on this challenge! I wish you luck in your journey!0

Welcome:
You will find a lot of great people on this site. Glad to hear you did some research and are ready for your new life.
I was sleeved Feb/2011 down a total of 175lbs. I had some regain and am now back on track. Lost 32lbs since joining MFP about 5 wks ago.
Good luck, read, listen, learn, live. All will be good.0 -
Welcome to the site, this is a great place to be. People here are so helpful, kind and friendly. It's a great place to ask questions.
I should be sleeved in September or October. I've lost 20 lbs. on my own since February and will be on a 2 week liquid fast to shrink my liver (this is fairly standard) before the surgery.
Feel free to friend me.0 -

Welcome to the group. I'm so glad you're reaching out to others who have been through the sleeve. I am 9 weeks post-surgery and down 50 pounds. I am continuing to learn about my new normal. Take one day at a time and be kind to yourself. Your body will have to adjust to things it's never done. The sleeve is a great tool!0
