Hi
I'm new to the group and wanted to share my story and ask a few questions. I'm a 23 year old girl from Iceland, a student.
I was diagnosed recently with thyroiditis resulting in hypothyroidism. It started in November last year with swelling of glands and muscles in the face and neck, headaches (mostly in the face) and of course being constantly tired, strange heart rate and weight gain. I was only diagnosed in march since I had such strange symptoms and started taking medication a month ago.

I was wondering if anyone else had a similar story and, if you did, did you get rid of the headache at some point? I'm still dealing with it and am still waiting for an appointment with a specialist.

If you have gone trough something similar it would be nice to hear how it all turned out.

Go see a specialist. It's a serious issue. I've been dealing with it for years. Always take your meds at the same time. Never take around food or vitamins, Stay away from soy, kale, broccoli,. Do some research. Some foods are really bad for you. Good luck
