How soon after a c-section did you start working out!?

I started walking a mile a day two weeks after my c-section, I didn't start up intense exercise (running, zumba, kickboxing) until after being cleared at my 6 week appointment even though I felt great for weeks leading up to it.

Awesome - I will talk to my doctor about it.

Within a few days I was doing "normal" activity....walking, shoveling (a few inches of) snow, etc... When I went to have my stitches removed (at about a week postpartum) he told me to do whatever I felt like doing and to "listen to my body".

I was very fortunate and had a great c-section experience. I know many on here had to wait months to get the all clear. Be reasonable. Stop if it hurts. But in my experience, lifting up the damn 20 lb car seat with a 10 lb baby inside if it was WAY harder on the abdominal area than taking a moderate walk was.
