If you want to go that far From Livestrong:
Step 1
Count the number of steps your are climbing and multiply it by 17, which is the standard number of inches for most steps. This is number if inches you are climbing.
Step 2
Convert miles into inches. One mile is equal to 63,360 inches.
Step 3
Compare the number of inches of stairs you have climbed to the inches in a mile to see how far you have climbed.0 -

I have a half the 16th, that my friends signed me up for and I have not run enough to feel confident. The first and what I thought my last half was in June. Hoping this helps me too!0 -
Does it matter if you walk or run or a combination of both? I do both.... I just usually log the miles together. I am in !!!0

I'm in....maybe it'll keep me motivated to go EVERY day, instead of hit or miss, depending on the weather! 2.3 miles at lunch today!0

Well, I'm not counting the general plodding around the office at work. These 50 miles will be for me additional to my daily sedentary lifestyle.. Over 100lbs to lose so gotta be good this one.
Right off out to put my first mile in today, no time to do more today as have plans this evening..0 -
great challenge I will try. It's 4k if done 5 times a week. I've missed out today (i've only read the post now and it's 8:30 pm) but I will try tomorrow! Great encouragement!
