Last night I made zucchini noodles with homemade walnut pesto and roasted tomatoes and it was fantastic, the zucchini noodles were a better substitute than spaghetti squash!
I also spiralized with the flat blade purple potatoes and roasted them with garlic, salt, pepper, and Parmesan and they were amazing too!!
With a nicely grilled steak it was an almost perfect (there was hard raw cheese in both) paleo meal!

Here is the one I got from Amazon

Tomorrow I'm making paleo spaghetti sauce and eating squash noodles and meat sauce all week for lunch and am so excited!!0 -
I have the same type of spiralizer, but since space is at a premium in my kitchen, I just ordered this:

I really only use the spiralizer for zucchini spaghetti, so if this new one works well, I'm going to donate my large spiralizer to a thrift store!0 -
Abbey - let us know how you like that hand held spiralizer. I've been looking at the various types wondering which one is best. I'd rather have something smaller that I can fit in a drawer. Also let us know if it's easy to clean.0

Last night and had it over zoodles for lunch- SO GOOD. Not only am I full, I feel satisfied which is key for me to not head for the processed carbs.0 -
I recently picked up a Paderno Spiralizer. The reviews I read of the handheld ones suggested that it was more fiddly to use, and also it was more important to have the right shaped (either naturally, or cut to shape) vegetables. I've been following the Inspiralizer blog for a while, and she swears by the Paderno one, so I went with that. Loving it so far. I have enough kitchen space to justify it, though, so your mileage may vary.0

I use a veggetti and love my zucchini noodles. I have given up pasta 100% thanks to my veggetti0

I recently purchased this julienne peeler, it is OK--the size of a normal veg peeler. Some of the veg goes to waste and it's hard to get them all the same length. Maybe I need more practice!

That is similar to the one I use. Works really well and any left over vegetable matter, like the center of a zucchini, I just either saute up with some eggs or throw them in the sauce I am making to use on the zoodles.0 -
I love my spiralizer too! Zucchini noodles are the bomb!0
