Rest day today, so I'm going to need to live vicariously through the rest of you.

My trainer does want me to do some low back exercises today, but that won't take very long.

    Happy Friday!

I haven't had a chance to read up on how everyone is doing. Hopefully well.

I've been sick for the past few days, the poison ivy reaction, or maybe I had shingles, got bad. Now I'm better. Fells and I got out for a 3+ mile run this morning. It felt so good to get back to exercise!

    TODAY IS A NEW DAY!

Before 10AM I had 8k steps—my daily goal! I got up at half past dark to go to the gym. Cardio, trainer session, cardio! RAWR!

    Thurs Goals report:
    1) Eat within cals +/- 150. Check. I was only over by 50 cals.
    2) Have a cooked veggie PLUS salad and/or soup with dinner. Nope.
    3) Appetizers! Nope.
    4) Log in dinner FIRST so I can work backwards from there. Check! My husband called me in the afternoon to tell me we were going to Fuddrucker’s with his visiting relative. So I rearranged my cals and took a lunchtime walk so I could try and break even.

Glad you are feeling better btsinmd....

Laura todays post hits how I feel today...I am going hiking for first time since all these fires around here, we called local forestry office and the area we are going is safe but I still have a few fears.

    So gorgeous, scary....I can relate!

I am just so sick of spending the whole summer inside! It's like loosing the best time of the year!

With working full time this month with boss on honeymoon, not getting as much exercise as normal anyway. At least I have 2 days off.

    Trip report...lol

Hike was fun and I tell you if you were air dropped into the area you would never know any fires were around, solid blue sky, fresh air perfect day and hike!

Come back into town and smoke on top of mountains in 3 different directions...what a summer!

Today I walked my errands. about 1.5 miles.
Tonight was Tae Kwon Do test - not mine but the black belts are asked to join the brown belt test to up the ante. Good workout. I love that I can do it without being winded. I need to keep it up so that next May my 3rd degree black belt test will ROCK!
TKD - I will only count about 30 minutes even though it was longer. (Actually I don't add it anymore through MFP, but just count movement with my fitbit). Later I may have to look into a heart rate monitor. I'm sitting nicely in denial right now about my hear rate : )
