Calories during Workout days

Hi,
Was wondering if I should stick to having the same amount of calories during lifting days. I usually lift 4 days a week & have my calories set to about 1700 for wanting to cut back BF%. Should I up my calories & carbs while still staying below maintenance during the days I workout or should it remain the same?
Thanks.

I would let personal preference and performance primarily determine this.0

Would there be a delay in fat loss duration if I were to bump up my calories by a few hundred calories(I feel I'm hungrier during the workout day compared to non workout days), whilst still staying under maintenance?
Thanks.0 -

As long as you stay in deficit you will continue to lose weight.0 -

If you eat more without an additional increase in energy expenditure, then yes, your weigh loss will be slower. However, bumping calories may not be a bad thing - if your workouts are better, then you are expending more energy and there is adherence to consider. Losing a smaller amount of weight for longer may be better in the long run than losing a larger amount of weight week to week for a shorter duration.
It really comes back to preference, energy levels and adherence in the longer term.0
