Just a reminder the August Challenge is:
Week 1 will be 8/1/14 - 8/10/14
Week 2 will be 8/11/14 - 8/17/14
Week 3 will be 8/18/14 - 8/24/14
Week 4 will be 8/25/14 - 8/31/14
The three focus areas are Fitness, Diet & Mind. There are some pre-set goals for beginners, moderate and active. Or you can create your own personalized goals.
Weekly goal updates can be posted using the template below:
Week 1 Goal:
Fitness – 200 of calories (walking 30 mins x 6 days)
Diet – No bread & added broccoli, celery & spinach; 64 oz water 7 days
Mind – complimented myself during my workouts.
Week 1 Actual:
Fitness – 210 calories (walking 30 mins x 6 days)
Diet – No bread & added broccoli, celery & spinach; 64 oz water 6 days
Mind – complimented myself each morning and during my workouts and after not eating pizza during the office birthday party.

Week 2 Goal:
Fitness – 200 of calories (exercise 40 mins x 6 days)
Diet – No bread or dairy & add any veggie focus on plant based protein; 64+ oz water days 7
Mind – compliment myself during my workouts and after finishing a challenging task.
Week 2 Actual:
Fitness – 291 calories average (workouts 40+ mins x 4 days)
Diet – Had bread & dairy on 2 days, added more veggies & focused on plant based protein; 64+ oz water days 7
Mind – complimented myself during my workouts, while preparing for the day in the mirror and after finishing a challenging task.0 -
Week 2 :
Goal -- Week 2:
Fitness – 30 mins a day ,5 days a week ( unchanged really)
Diet – 72+ oz water ( one cup less because I was failing HARD)
Mind – Practice another language 60 mins a week
Actual -- Week 2:
Fitness – 300 mins 60*5 days a week #WIN ( I have a set schedule with this one now)
Diet –240 oz ( wow significantly worse.)
Mind – Have practiced Spanish, Portuguese and ASL one day a week #win ( but all the languages are starting to run together on me.lol0 -
