We went to Red Lobster. I had 3 stuffed mushrooms (appetizer). For the entree the 1lb. snow crab legs with roasted potatoes and corn cob. I also had one biscuit. If I'm not drinking wine all I drink is water. LOL!
I took the side ceasar salad home for lunch today.0 -
wow u did really good congrats....now I want Red Lobster...lol0

If there where a food that you could make free of all calories, fat, carbs and so on, what would it be? Mine would probably be Pizza or Lasagna.0

You did great, but don't get freaked out if you retain lots of water. I enjoyed crab last weekend and fought the water retention due to the high sodium in the crab. Drinks lots and lots of water0 -
Ok . I made it through the weekend with NO alcohol!!!! Yes!!! We went out to dinner and my husband order 2 cocktails and I was sooooo tempted to give in but I stayed strong. My sister even thought I caved in but I didn't.
Saturday my eating was not healthy but i stayed within my calorie goals. Sunday was better.0 -
Well done!! That's impressive ????0

Since some of y'all are talking about Wine... I found several wine based cocktails with no added sugar. I believe 1 serving has 70-120 calories, (carried by brand). They're amazing!0

Hope everyone is staying focused! This group is so quiet!0

lol....that's okay......I really do not have any pictures of myself......I hate the camera and always have. This is just a picture of the resort my husband and I stayed at in Cabo....it was so beautiful...0

I have been really excited about my girls weekend at the beach but I am worried also with all the dining out and treats. I am packing some healthy snacks and know we will be doing lots of walking. Just trying to stay on track and it does worry me. Ugggg it just can be frustrating.0

That is always so stressful for me knowing I have a fun outing and struggling with myself to stay focused or jump off the cliff. Normally I always jump off a cliff. But I am trying to train my mind that there is always going to be some party, holiday, outing, fun with friends and family and i have to learn to do everything in moderation regardless.
You can do this. Stay focused on your goal!0 -
I enjoyed the trip to the island and I did eat on track but still you never know how places cook the food. Also with seafood there is lots of sodium. I am back to knowing my food is prepared correctly because I make it and drinking loads of water. This week is a wash for me I am sure but it will get me back on track!0

You got this. Like you said drink tons of water. And personally i dont think u can go wrong with seafood as long as it wasnt covered in any kind of creams and sauces and such.0

Seafood sounds so good. I live in North Dakota so as you can imagine seafood not always even a choice and never really that fresh. Eating out is my weakness. Tonight we went out to eat and then after my hubby surprised me with a chocolate cheese cake from a place I love that is a 2 hour drive round trip. I couldn't not eat it but the leftovers got sent to my parents house.0

What I like to do is get sparkling water and a couple slices of lemon or lime. The bubbly makes me feel like i'm having a cocktail and it's different than just plain water.0 -
Hubby and I went to move our son back to college and we stopped for lunch. I had a low cal breakfast and than an huge high calorie lunch. Chicken fried steak, coleslaw and fries. Oh goodness, not a good day. I cannot remember the last time I went over my daily calories. Tonight a lite snack and a workout will be needed. Holy moly it was good but dang I feel guilty!0

Happy to Report that I received a clean bill of health today stemming from a large amount of lab work...
My new lifestyle has literally cut my cholesterol in half in as little as two months, increased my good cholesterol, blood sugar is excellent and all associated blood work was excellent... Course this may be contributed to the supplements/vitamins I take as well...
This simply provides me more drive to continue the journey...
I think the hardest part of this is going to be when I reach my goal weight and I attempt to operate in a maintenance mode... I am not going to know what do to with the additional calories. I am full most of the time and having to eat more is going to be uncomfortable and totally against the change in thought process I am striving to do away with...
Any ideas for the maintenance mode???0 -
Has anyone had any experience with a consumer style Rotisserie Oven...
To make a long story short, I have done away with everything white and processed (which includes all breads)...
I have increased my fiber intake and recently added the "Ole" Extreme Wellness Whole Wheat Wraps to my Diet...
I purchased a rotisserie chicken (pre-cooked) from walmart and placed pieces of the chicken inside the wrap with some vegetables... This was an awesome, low everything meal...
I like the chicken so much, I began to think about purchasing a rotisserie oven for myself... I am wondering if a consumer brand/style rotisserie oven is worth the money spent...
I am looking for anyone who has experience with a consumer model and if it worked as efficient as the commercial brands that cook several at a time in a commercial setting...0
