3 Weeks Post-op (VSG) today!

Today is my 3 week post-op! I had a Vertical Sleeve Gastrectomy on 8/26/2014. When I began the program at CMC's Obesity Treatment Center I weighed 283 pounds. According to my scale at home I weighed 262 pounds on the morning of my surgery. This morning I weighed in at 234 pounds! That means that I have lost 28 pounds since surgery!!! I am pumped 
(for the record, my highest known weight is 317 pounds.... I've come a long way!)
These pics are of my wife and I at two different weddings. The first one is June of 2013 and the second one is last weekend (September 2014). My wife (the tall one) was sleeved on 1/28/2014 and I was sleeved on 8/26/2014.

I'm in a similar situation...287 when I joined the programme in Red Deer one year ago, 250-ish today, and my surgery (sleeve) is on October 1st. I am so looking forward to NOT putting weight back on (which I've done every single time I lost weight in the past.0 -
