Vitamin D is both a nutrient we eat and a hormone our bodies make. Vitamin D consumption is just as important as the consumption of calcium, iron, magnesium, phosphate, and zinc, because without it our bodies would have more difficulty absorbing those nutrients and studies have shown that a deficiency of vitamin D often has symptoms similar to the deficiency of these minerals. Good sources of Vitamin D include Salmon, Tuna, Milk, Pork, and Eggs. Vitamin D is also added to many fortified products like cereals, orange juice, and low fat milks,

My vit d comes from egg and the sun and multi vitamin.
Food today has been good, about to cook chicken pie for tea. Yesterday had Chinese and it made me ill (so not good on all levels)

I get my vitamin D from milk, fish, butter, and cheese.
I ate half a chorizo breakfast burrito this morning, and I haven't had lunch yet, but I'm about to make a tuna sandwich on whole grain bread with some potato chips and for dinner I'm making kielbasa with peppers and onions and white rice.
I drank water all day and I'll still keep drinking cuz I love my water.
I didn't exercise, but I plan on doing yoga later for my back pain.0 -
So sorry I forgot to check in yesterday! I need to get in the habit again. I did work out yesterday though - a full half hour!
I think most of my vitamin d comes from my eggs. I also like to have some kind of fish once a week, so sometimes that is salmon.
Food- Had my typical scrambled eggs with cheese and avocado (had a lot of problems with getting enough potassium in the past and this helps tremendously). Lunch was my eggplant and turkey lasagna. Dinner was some haddock "nuggets" with some spices and coconut flour for breading. I was over a little on my calories and a lot more of my carbs. Grr. I had a hot chocolate this morning and then the beer later this evening didn't help.
Exercise - Woke up kinda late today but sister and I did get a half hour walk in, plus about another 10 minutes of walking later in the evening when we decided to get some errands done on foot.
Water - Got lots. About to drink some more as I have been doing a little drinking and need some extra hydration.

Wow I slept a lot.
Yesterday I ate breakfast (2 doughnuts, coffee, croissant sandwich) and dinner ( salmon, rice, broccoli) and then I slept all day and night except 2pm to 11pm...
I did exercise for 10 minutes. but most of the day was sleeping. Can't wait to be back on day shift.0
