I originally got really excited for watch dogs and it lead to me being rather dissapointed after enduring all the push backs and waits. Im looking forward to both the new Final Fantasy on PS4 as well as Dragon Age: Inquisition.

I'm really stoked for The last of us remastered, since I was a 360 dude last gen. Also the Metro 2033 redux collection. Destiny is going to be great, also. The alpha was really fun and my brother and I are really looking toward the beta this month.

I'll add you on there, I am looking forward to destiny, and i never bought the last of us because i saw it was going to get remastered and decided to wait, everyone raves about how awesome it is so i doubt ill be dissapointed. I played metro 2033 but never played last light, is it enjoyable?0

I've never played either Metro game. They sure have a neat concept though, and are very well reviewed!0
-
Dragon Age:inquisition. I played the other 2 like 6 times. And the Sims 4.0
-
Without a doubt: Dragon Age: Inquisition
Taking a few days of PTO for it0 -
Destiny !0

Dragon Age: Inquisition. It's pretty much the only game I care about this year. Still debating on getting it for 360 or next gen though.0
-
Destiny. Which is odd because I'm not a fan of shooters, but enjoyed it in the beta.0

The Evil Within
I love survival horror!! I'm really hoping it doesn't disappoint; there hasn't been a decent addition to the genre in such a long time!0 -
Smash Bros for 3DS! The only way I ever beat my children!0

lol jim that made me laugh, ive wanted to get a 3ds to play a game called bravely default i think is what its called but havent yet.0

Destiny. Which is odd because I'm not a fan of shooters, but enjoyed it in the beta.
It looks great. I can't do shooters though, they make me puke and give me a horrible headache0 -

I predict lots and lots and LOTS of Destiny cosplayers this year and next year :happy:0 -

I played the demo of Bravely Default. It was kind of confusing. There isn't much in the way of tutorial. It's got GREAT reviews so I guess once you get it, it's awesome. I ended up going with Fire Emblem: The Awakening. Same idea and very fun!
Pull the trigger. Get a 3DS! Hey, if you need more incentive, they have a step counter in them and you can use the steps as points in your games!0 -
Very cool, I just realized Civilization is coming out with a new entry into the series :Beyond Earth, so my gaming time will disappear into that for quite a while im sure as it has with every Civ Game0

Super Smash Bros. I have played the demo so much on my 3DS, Villager is definitely awesome. And in another throwback to my childhood: Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire remakes. Absolutely ecstatic. Not exactly a fan of shooters so Destiny didn't really stand out to me. I've been playing both Bravely Default and Fire Emblem and those are quite fun. As for the poster earlier that was hesitant about getting a 3DS: I have gotten so much use out of my 3DS, it's definitely worth buying. I'd wait since they are releasing a new version sometime soon.0

Dreamfall Chapters, I just found out is being released on October 21st.0

Dragon Age: Inquisition and I may just get sucked back into WoW with the new expansion. Maybe. It just eats up so much of the time I don't have with an active toddler running around. Maybe I'll just PvP....0

The new Dragon Age looks good but I have to wait as I've got too many others preordered plus i have 5 generations of games to finish starting with atari lol. The new Batman has me interested though. Sadly so many of the franchises I like are dead or soon will be. EA made a mess of Mass Effect and their current hinted ideas for Deadspace leave no hope.0
-
I'm looking forward to Dragon age and Ori the Blind Forrest. I think Ori is supposed to come out next year though so it may not count (at least for the Xbox 360). Dragon age because of its story and it reminds me of Mass Effect which I enjoyed greatly and Ori for its visual style.0

Not much of this year left! Only game I was looking forward to this year that hasn't been released yet is Witcher 3 and that got delayed to Feb 2015. Bah.0

A lot of the games I'm looking forward to are next year thankfully as i'm broke. I'm waiting on my Master chief collection to show up, amazon dragged their butts shipping this one.0

So I started Dragon Age Inquisition... and I'm actually kinda bummed. The world is just too big for me. I play those games for the story line... and I've spent the last 3 hours running in circles trying to complete random quests, without any real idea of where I'm going, and the story hasn't progressed one bit... and I've still only explored 1/5th of the map or something. Then I just went a bit South and got destroyed by some monsters, while everything in the area so far has been easy. Ugh.
Not what I expected. So I play it a bit at a time then get bored and go do something else...0 -
I'm currently rotating between Super Smash Bros 3DS and Pokemon Alpha Sapphire. I'm also a little curious about NES Remix for the 3DS, but the reviews I've seen so far haven't been great...0
-
The NES remix is interesting too, it reminds me of the competition cartridges they had in the 80s/90s for the in-store competitions where it was 15 minutes of each game. I started the new Persona game, they're never the same twice lol. I like RPGs with big worlds but i also like a main quest with side quests as you go, that's one of the problems with Fallout these days. You can miss stuff because they make it too open world.0
-
I've been making some good progress in Inquisition - I get what you're saying but I find it different/better than Fallout because you're always gaining/aiming for something. I'm really enjoying the Power/War Room stuff, it's an added twist to the game. I'm probably at 15 hours now and the time *flew* by yesterday, playing most of the day.

I'm so far behind on my games at the moment and i went and got 3 of the Flashback retro machines from the dollar store today so now there's about 400 games on them to play lol. I would have had 1 more but the Sega one was already taken and they only had one of it.0

Haha I'm at like 12 hours, mostly spent in Hinderlands. I was stuck because everywhere I go, the mobs were 3+ levels higher than me and kicking my butt.
Then I finally realized I could go back to the world map and move on with the story (after wondering for days what the war room was that all my quests were asking me to go to). So I did that last night, haven't moved on to the next map yet though so I'm really hoping the mobs will actually be my level...
I guess it's just way too open and vague for me, I like straight story lines that take you through dungeons or 'closed maps', not open maps with a ton of quests (main gripe is that there is no level on those quests, yay for stumbling into a level 14 dragon at level 7). But we'll see how the game progresses...0 -
I'm definitely excited for Dragon Age(still haven't bought it), Shadow of Mordor was quite nice too. I'm looking forward to Destiny and some of the Squadron 42 missions coming for Star Citizen. I'm sure I'll play a bunch of GTA V and Batman Knight when they hit PC too.0

we just got the new lego batman and lego hobbit. I love these games! I am really looking forward to the new game of thrones game though.0
