I'm grateful that I am alive and even if I'm a little chubby right now, I'm healthy and getting happier as I'm taking better care of myself.
Breakfast I had a grapefruit and weeds and seeds
Lunch I made a spinach pizza
Dinner I'm making spinach and ravioli soup
a lot of spinach today oh well
Exercise I did 45 mins cross country ski
Water as always I'm working on my 3.5 L of water

My motto for the day is what you eat in private you wear in public. It helps me to remind myself to log my calories. I still ate them even if I would feel guilty about logging them. It helps me make better choices.
For breakfast I had a chia seed and turkey sausage omelet, for lunch I had celery and a vegan black bean burger on a wheat sandwich thin with spinach and tomato, and for dinner I had garlic mashed sweet potatoes, balsamic parmesan roasted cauliflower, and veggie loaded meatloaf. I'm up to 10 cups of water so far, but the night is still young. For exercise I did an hour on the elliptical and 20 squats for my challenge.0 -
I'm going to sound dumb, but what exactly is weeds and seeds? I've seen that a few times and I'm curious.0

weeds and seeds is a combo of: buckwheat, hemp seeds, chia seeds,puffed quinoa, black currants, coconut flakes, dandelion leaf, plantain leaf and cinnamon.
It is a survival cereal that is made here in BC. I like to put it on my fruit at breakfast0 -
I had a good weigh-in Friday, after a week of being strict (thankful for that).
Also thankful I've finally learnt how to put pictures on here, been struggling for weeks.

Yesterday was a slow day for me.
I did well calories but not quite in nutrition.
Exercise was squats, no pushups...
Water was horrible. I'm not drinking again. As in I'm only getting 30oz a day. I go through cycles where I'm not thirsty and thus constantly dehydrated. Wish I knew why...
My motto: Waste it or waist it. Ie, don't eat everything on the plate (or just everything...)0 -
Another late check in:
I didn't eat much yesterday, I was busy taking care of my son. He came home from school with a fever. For breakfast I made a breakfast sandwich (eggs, bacon, & cheese), I skipped lunch then had a tuna sandwich with lettuce and tomato for dinner. I didn't exercise, but as usual I drank plenty of water.
I still need to try harder to cut down on my carbs. I feel like that is a big problem for me. I love my rice, pasta, breads, and my biggest vice is potato chips. I can't have them in the house or they will find their way to my mouth lol. So sodium is the other big problem area for me. I think I need someone to stand next to me all day and tell me "NO DON'T EAT THAT!" lol
I really want to do well this weekend. My motivation for the weekend is that my scrubs are feeling a little snug and I can't have that.0
