October Challenge!!

Well - it's October 1st! Time for a new challenge. I've successfully done Atkins for four weeks, so I'm pretty proud of that. I'm down 7.4 pounds so I'm hoping to double up on that (at least) before Thanksgiving. I'm going to try to get to 205 by 10/31 - what's your goal?

    That's awesome!

    I should look back on what I committed to the September challenge, but I went to the gym more in September and lost about 11 pounds, so I'm fairly happy with September's progress. I did go crazy 3-4 days out of the month which stalled my progress (over carbs AND calories) but I got back on the wagon right away and still lost weight overall.

    My goals for October are to lose 12 pounds which will put me about where I was at during fall of last year which was before I completely undid all my weight loss progress. I also want to go to the gym twice a week, cardio and/or strength.

    I also hope to not go off low carb or over calories more than 1 day this month. I have no events coming up and have to get in a groove before the holidays so I'm more committed to low carb and won't let the holidays derail me.

    I want to get to 175.0 and I know this sounds strange :huh: , but I bought a package of size 7 underwear and I want them to fit without hangover :blushing: !

    I'll join you. I'm day 8 induction and my first week weight loss has settled down to a more stable pace. Today's weight is 191lbs(from 197.5), and my goal will be be comfortable in my 'first goal' jeans, size 12's.

    memelizzy - I totally understand this!!! I've had to steadily buy larger underwear as I put on weight, and I have some size 7s in my drawer that I'm GOING TO GET INTO SO HELP ME. :smile:

    Going to do 30 days without using HWC and Davinci SF in my morning and evening cup of decaf.
    Scale wise my Oct mini goal is 214lbs.

    Ill join you guys, I want to lose 20lbs this month starting weight 315 (as of yesterday) so that will put me under 300. (which i hope to never see again!!)

    Struggling in the 170s.....focusing on losing again....one year ago I saw people where I am and they regained......I want to make goal and maintain...posting my goals makes it a reality!! SatinPumpkin you are an inspiration way to go!!!

    I'm jumping into the challenge 5 days late, but I have been doing Atkins phase 1 for about 2 weeks. During that time I have dropped 7 pounds. My goal for October is to lose at least 8 pounds. My weight loss has been stalled for the last week, so I am going to up my exercise and my vegetables. I want to exercise at least 3 days a week. I would also like to get in some strength training per week.

    Hope it's not too late to join in here! I binged over the weekend (which are my hardest times to stay on track) and so now I'm back to day one of following Atkins and my short term goal is to lose 10 pounds in October.
