Daily Meals! B-L-D-Ss

Hey ya'll! I'm more of a silent lurker in the group, and I am just recently trying to return to Paleo style of eating after attempting just to use portion control methods which didn't work too well.
I am not as 'disciplined' as many of you so some of my foods may not be 100% Paleo but I am trying for sure....

any how I had an idea I've gotten from the main forums and wanted to bring here.

I realize MFP is a food diary already but I thought it would be great to share your meals for the day. Possibly give ideas for newbies and oldies :wink:

TL:DR: What did you eat today?

I'll go first...

B: Spinach and Egg Beaters blended in my NutriBullet, with broccoli and two slices of Turkey Bacon.
Coffee with Coconut Cream

L: Eddy's Cilantro Lime Chicken breast with Raw Carrots and Home Made Guacamole

Ss: Raw Raspberries, Navel Orange Sections, and Almonds

D: Paleo Turkey and Sweet Potato Chili (trying to decide on a side for it since corn bread is a no-no)

    B: chicken breast, baked acorn squash

    L: roasted green beans and brussels sprouts, homemade chicken sausage (basically ground chicken with some spices), cheddar cheese (I know that cheese is not considered strictly Paleo; sometimes I eat it because it helps me feel full)

    D: nectarine, 2 kiwi, handful roasted almonds

    This is not a typical day for me, but after lunch I had gotten more than enough protein for the day but was low on fat. Hence the cheese and almonds. Because I had plenty of carb allowance left I let myself indulge with fruit.

    Mine's pretty boring!

    B: homemade espresso coffee with Kerrygold butter, coconut oil, and coconut milk and I had a bite of my kids' bacon

    L: deviled eggs; a salad mix I make of stuff from my garden - cherry tomatoes, cucumber, red onion, bell pepper - and feta cheese with balsamic vinegar and a drizzle of olive oil; coffee with coconut milk

    D: coleslaw made with red and green cabbage and poppyseed dressing; pastrami slices

    L: Yesterdays Dinner No Bean Turkey Chili with Sweet Potatoes over a base of spaghetti squash (love this stuff) and raw kale I'm gonna let the microwave steam it.

    Ss: Fresh Cantaloupe, Celery with PB2 (I know I know but its all I had on hand) and Craisins maybe some almonds

    D: Probably going to be the same as what I had for lunch cause I have a busy evening ahead and no desire to cook again :blushing:

    B- 2 eggs scrambled with portabellos, ham and onion. 2 cups of coffee with a splash of unsweetened almond milk.
    L- grilled lean hamburger (6oz) , home made paleo mayo, sweet potato fries
    D- pork loin, asparagus, mushroom and onion stir-fry thingie
    S-raw almond, raisin, raw pumpkin seed and walnut mix, and apple, sliced cucumber

    Alright its another week... (I don't use the forums on the weekends call it 'forum freetox' lol)

    B: 2 Whole Eggs, 1 Spinach, 2 Slices turkey bacon... Coffee with french vanilla coconut coffee creamer

    L: Grilled Chicken Thigh, Broccoli, Sweet Potato

    Ss: Apple, Baby Carrots, Celery, Almond Butter, Craisins

    D:.... Undecided :grumble: but it looks like its gonna be some sort of beef stir fry with spaghetti squash

    I eat so much compared to everyone else! I just started into a paleo style way of eating

    B #1) 1 whole egg and half cup egg whites and 100g of roasted sweet potatoes
    B#2) 1 whole egg and half cup egg whiles with banana (paleo pancakes) added 1tbsp almond butter and 1/2 teaspoon honey
    S#1) apple and 200g yogurt. It was fat free no sugar added (Im just trying to use it up) :/
    L) cauliflower rice with shredded carrots and red onions and 3 oz of ground turkey with taco seasoning and half avocado
    S#2) two celery stalks with 2 tbsp of almond butter
    D) 3 oz ground turkey again with roasted bell peppers and cauliflower
    S#3) Shakeology chocolate with water and some frozen strawberries and 2tbsp PB2. I know its not really part of the lifestyle way but its yum!

    Yummy ... love those websites @ascrit

    B - Eggs with Turkey Bacon and Sweet Potato

    L - Chicken breast marinated in olive oil, orange lemon, apple cider vinegar, garlic, green onions and mrs dash garlic herb (never done this combo before but it smelled wonderful cooking) Zucchini and Sweet Potato

    D - Chicken and Veggies most likely

    Ss- Peach and Chobani Greek yogurt ...

    I haven't managed to go 100% paleo but I eventually plan to get there ;)
