Another month another challenge!

So, set yourself a target for the month, one that's challenging to you. It doesn't matter if it's 31 hours, 310,000 steps or 100 miles or whether it's more or less as long as it's a challenge for you.

  • I am new to the group, so this will e my first time doing this challenge. I am off to a good start though. I did 5 miles today!

    My goal, as always is 100 miles! Hoping to meet that early and push on, but starting with a goal that I"ve had trouble meeting so far... Still have a pulled muscle and had to cut the treadmill short today, but 3 - 4 miles a day average shouldn't be too bad!!

    I'm measuring with my Fitbit Flex, that must think I have a shorter stride than I do...It always shows me with fewer miles than the treadmill, or the measured trails. Oh well. Better to be below than saying I did more than I actually did!!

    October 1 - 3.01 miles.

    Going for 170 km this month (100 miles) and have that as that extra push to get out and walk at all kind of weather and even though my body hurts all over :)

    At the end of last month my Fitbit died on me but I have a new one and hope to meet last months numbers, or at least keep up with my weekend steps.

    10/1 - 16,490 S / 6.9 M
    10/2 - 30,397 S / 12.88 M

    San Francisco is having a heat wave - not sure if that is a good thing or not :smile:

    Hi everyone. I just joined this group, so I'm late coming in this week. I have a daily goal of 10,000 steps (approx. 4.5 miles for me) and I currently generally do a lot less than that. I'm working hard to get the numbers up so I can do 100 miles this month!

    I usually wait until after midnight here to log, but I'm at work, and alone, so getting up to even run to the bathroom is not going to happen. :( I'll add any additional to tomorrow, but it won't be much, if any! Finally on track to hit 25 in the first week!

    Hope you had a great first week. Fitbit says 32.54 miles. Not a bad start but I need to get moving to achieve my goal of 175 miles for the month of October.
