I walked 7.5 miles this morning and I walked for 2 hrs and 19 minutes. That is the longest I have walked but not the furthest. My son joined me for the first 4.5 miles. I wanted to make sure I got 5 miles in and then I did not want to stop. The best part....my son has now joined MFP!!!
What a wonderful post PinkyPan1. Wonderful miles and time walked and especially that you son joined MFP!! What a good example as well as an encourager you have been for him. Great news!

Hi Ann-I decided that a bookmark of the New Forum Tricks & Tips would be good to have and I assumed the bookmark was like our old My Topics/. Well, it's not!! When you book mark something, anytime anyone replies in that forum, the little number goes up. However, I have learned that if I just click on it, the numbers go away. I only book marked one and I cannot imagine how many little numbers will appear if you book mark more than one. I am now scared to even touch that darn bell for fear more numbers will appear. This new forum is taking some getting used to that is for sure! Brenda

Texasgardnr and zichab, I like the looks of the page but too right about figuring out what all the do-dad's a for. A heads up on that would be nice. I haven't found anything in the help section about them either. Not nearly as userfriendly as it could be.0

My hubby and I went looking for a park with a walking path that was not concrete. We found one with a couple of exercise stations along the pathway. So we played around & used the exercise stations, and walked and had a fun time together.

I did Leslie's 5 Mega Miles this morning. It was the first time I tried it and I am proud of myself for being able to do all 5 miles without a break. This is a huge NSV for me. The Mega Miles will be a big asset for me during the winter months.
