If you come across a quote that gets you to pause and think, or maybe change your thinking or motivate you to do something good for yourself, add it to this discussion. We can all use some motivation sometimes. Sometimes we need to be motivated to laugh, sometimes to change something to help us lose weight, or to live life more fully. Please share. The quote can even come from your own brain, or someone else's, just make sure to give credit where credit is due if possible.

Those who love you are not fooled by mistakes you have made or dark images you hold about yourself. They remember your beauty when you feel ugly, your wholeness when you are broken, your innocence when you feel guilty, and your purpose when you are confused. -African saying

I found this quote from Confucius that makes me smile:
"It does not matter how slowly you go as long as you do not stop."
Perhaps i saw too many cartoons as a child...can see Toby Tortoise racing along and we know who won the race! Slow and steady; that's my plan. Actually, slow happens by itself. The conscious part is the steady.

It's not what you do between Christmas and New Year's that matters...
It's what you do between New Year's and Christmas.
I need to remember this right now as the scale isn't moving much this time of year.
