Eating right after Sleeve sugery

Hi all, I am new to this group & I have some questions about MFP & keeping track. I started using M.F.P. a year ago & I added all these meals to my foods, but just having sleeve surgery last Wednesday I have to change a lot in my eating. One problem is, I want to be able to get rid of all my favourites & start with nothing. I just don't see how to do this. I list new things, but they get lost in the list of everything else. Also, would anyone have suggestions on how to get the proper amount of protein & calories in a day without too much trouble. I basically could use some help please.

I am two weeks out from sleeve surgery, and am on soup, protein powder and yogurt. Pretty boring, but I am getting the food and fluids in. I see my surgeon for my first follow up tomorrow and hope to be able to add purées and soft foods, just to alleviate the boredom of what I a eating now.
Hang in there. In a few weeks we'll both be heading toward normalcy!
Feel free to add me as a friend and we can walk the path together.

I am 6 weeks post-op. I am counting my protein (70) and calories 800 daily. I know this is important so your body does not go into starvation mode and store fat. I had a 2 week stall. Drink those fluids and take those vitamins! Follow your dr's orders. Each dr seems to have a bit of a different approach. This is a great group for advice! Hang in there...

I think your question was how do you change the foods that come up as your favourites
here is how you do that
Go to foods frequent
Then highlight the ones you like to delete
Go to the bottom of screen and hit the delete from list button

Sorry I tried to follow my instructions and found I mislead you
Go to food pick a item to add food to (breakfast lunch dinner)
choose add food
then when the list of foods comes up you choose (tick box) the ones you do not want anymore then go to the bottom of the screen and hit the "delete items" button
hope this is what you wanted0 -
thanks Dale--that helps me too!
