But...But.... I need to know whats happening to Beth0

Ha! I KNEW it and I haven't read any of the comics. It was so obvious to me a few episodes back that Eugene was full of you know what. How stupid was that woman who heard Eugene put glass in the bus? My first thought if I heard that would be that he's making stuff up that's why he sabotaged the bus.
I feel sorry for Abraham. He seems to be having a nervous breakdown of sorts. But hey he did get some late nite luvin from Rosita.
Was Eileen his wife? I didn't get why she took off with the children.
Next week's episode looks great!0 -
I think the whole Eugene realization will either drive Abraham to new dictator levels or will humanize him so he's not always bullying everyone and barking orders.
Poor Eugene - lurking in the self help book section watching - the actor said on the Talking Dead that he loved that scene because he likes to portray Eugene as a geek. I hope he can now step up and fend for himself a bit more. Funnies scene was him running away (awkwardly) from the three zombies before he got to Abraham.
Only three more eposides --- they have a lot of things to wrap up, like the Carol, Beth hospital situation, and who was coming out of the woods with Darryl. I think it's either Noah or Morgan. Probably Noah, because I don't think Darryl every met Morgan and would not trust him to bring him back to the group.
Also, need some more Carl scenes. Hardly seen him at all this season. He needs more pudding!

I knew as soon as Eugene told Tara that he sabotaged the bus that he was going to come out as a liar, very predictable for me, but I still loved it. I laughed my butt off at the self help section scene. I think that Abraham is going to tone down and get depressed a little now. He was going to kill himself before he was able to lose himeself in "the mission". I'm thinking that Eilene was his wife and she didn't know what was going on, just saw Abraham killing someone who she thought was human, and she was scared of him and scared for their kids, so she took off thinking she was protecting them.
Looks like the next episode is going to be Daryl and Carols trip, so it obviously not in order, it could be Carol and Noah with Daryl and they send Carol back to help Beth, with the whole team standing watch. Wonder if Abraham's group is going to go back to the church now and maybe we will have the whole team back together for the midseason finale?0 -
I was definitely underwhelmed with this episode. I think I spent more time wondering if Abraham's hair is naturally that red or if they are coloring it than I did wondering what was going to happen.
I appreciate the backstory on Abraham though. It explains why he is so devoted to getting Eugene to Washington D.C. He didn't have anything to live for until Eugene came awkwardly running into his life.
I do enjoy the comic relief that Eugene provides. I cracked up at the end when he confessed that the director of the Human Genome Project didn't actually say that he liked the mullet.0 -

I would be more worried that this is going to make Abraham give up all hope. He was going into the same tail spin as Tyreese after Karen was killed. I think it would be more likely that he will die making some stupid decision like trying to go through a giant herd of zombies.

I was pretty "meh" about this episode as well. I knew from the comics about Eugene, but was a little surprised it came out in this episode. Abraham's backstory was nice to see though. And the sex scene with Rosita just reinforces my feeling that all she's there for is eye candy. I want to like her, but I just can't yet.
Haven't watch TTD yet, but did he actually kill Eugene? It wasn't totally confirmed at the end of the episode, but he looked pretty dead. Plus the sound he made when he hit the pavement was pretty brutal.0 -

When his head bounced off the pavement it made me queasy!! He has to be dead or seriously injured.
Did anyone else think it was odd that they kept focusing attention on Abraham's hand?? Is that going to be his down fall or was it just an attempt to show that he keeps hurting it because he keeps having angry outbursts and re-injuring it?

Eugene might have Asperger's Syndrome. The weird running stance, strange literal way of phrasing things and social awkwardness all made me think he might be a very high-functioning person on the autism spectrum. Who say "I'm still smarter than you though" to a man who has a gun and is quite pissed off at you?
I wondered what was up with Abraham's hand too.
So the bad smell that wafted over..that was all those Walkers in the distance? So now if there are enough of them, they send a bad smell. Up until now it seemed like they were always caught off guard by Walkers even large groups of them.0 -
I saw this on Facebook tonight, kind of explains a few things http://moviepilot.com/posts/2423640?lt_source=external,manual0

I couldn't really see the walkers because they were too far off. Was it like a farm on both sides of the road with like thousands of walkers? That's what it looked like to this lady with terrible eyesight..0 -

My thought was that it was a military base. There was an awful lot of what looked like fencing for it to be a farm. If it was a farm, couldn't they just wander out and about?
I wondered about his hand too. I thought for a sec maybe he got bit, but the more I thought about it I think it's his outbursts and he keeps re-injuring it.0 -

It looked like farms with fencing with lots of Walkers. It could be a military base too. I think Atlanta has some Army forts. Whatever it is, I don't think you can drive past it.
I don't get why they waited until now to think of bicycles. Bikes don't require fuel and they're pretty quiet. You just need something to repair the tires, a bike pump and you should be good to go.The flashbacks with Abraham's wife and family were a tip of the hat to the comics. His wife and daughter were raped, by the men you see Abraham killing, while he was on a supply run. The men were his neighbors, practically family. His wife and children are frightened both by what happened to them and seeing their husband and father like that and decide to flee.
I don't think he killed Eugene... we'll see though.
That's so sad about Abraham's family..
I honestly won't be sad if Eugene died. But if he lives, he better become a badass in time like Carol.

When Abraham knelt down and started bawling, I thought he was going to shoot himself in the head. I'm worried about what he'll do now. At least they're only a few miles away from Rick and Co.

I can do without more Carl scenes... But only three more episodes until the mid-season break? Nooooooo! I feel like we just started again!
Of course there will be a cliffhanger until February or whenever the show returns

Did anyone see the preview on TTD? Spoiler space if not:
So they were throwing a small-ish body on a fire...assuming it's not Beth, my guess is that it's Noah0 -

I wondered what it was too. At first I thought maybe it was small town because it seemed to have small building on both sides of the road. When I saw the fences I thought maybe it was a farm and those were pens that they kept livestock in. It did seem a bit odd that there would be such a large collection of walkers in an area where they were running into small groups of walkers. I wonder if we'll be seeing that location again soon.

This was an interesting read...especially the part about Abraham's hand. Maybe it was meant to show that it's a reoccurring injury because he has a problem with controlling his temper. Also I didn't catch that he was still wearing the wedding ring.

If you think about it Eugene and Rosita are both using Abraham for the same reason....protection. Rosita just happens to make herself more useful than Eugene.0

I think it was a cattle ranch, there was some mention of that when the smell came up. I wonder if some of the walkers were penned in?

Rosita is just eye candy and pretty useless. I don't know what value she adds. Like Abraham's wife, she too seems horrified by his (I think justified) reaction to betrayal. The neighbors raped the wife and daughter, so he hurt them. I'd be happy if my husband did it, but that's how I am..lol... and Rosita seems horrified that he's beating Eugene even though Eugene's lies lead to multiple people dying to get him to D.C.0 -

Maybe Rosita needs an audience to get off? Without Eugene, who would be her peeping tom?
