Monday Add-on: What's your goal this week???0
-
Goal this week - Track everything everyday. Start working out!
Today.
Breakfast - cornbread and grapes
Lunch - cheeseburger, apple sauce, orange,
Snack - small mocha
Dinner - (Way too much) homemade chilli and bread.
Total - 2,009 calories. Too much for my energy and activity level today...
Exercise - Nada, and back to the sedentary job... Not good.
Water - only 30.
Today is the start of winter pretty much. Not quite ready honestly.0 -
Oh my goodness. Slept horribly last night/due to a lot of wind noise... Today's going to be "interesting" as I feel like I didn't sleep at all. Ughhhh0
-
breakfast; grapefruit, weeds and seeds, raisin toast
lunch: toasted tomato, cucumber, cheese, onion sandwich and 2 cookies
dinner: not sure
goal this week is to make sure I exercise 2x a day once in morning once in evening.
it's been windy here as well. at least now all the leaves are off the trees, and the racking is done as of today.0 -
Sweetpea - great job raking! I honestly try to wait till the wind takes away the leaves or snow covers them, but we don't have many trees that drop leaves at the same time.
Training Tips Tuesday:
Do a This or That workout. While even 10 minutes of purposeful exercise can greatly benefit your body, choosing littler ways of being more active can add up! Standing vs sitting. Stairs vs Elevator. Even just taking little breaks (to walk around) at work.

Sweetpea - great job raking!
- thanks, I hate raking, if I didn't like my tree so much in the summer it would be a goner:)
kind of interesting that pushing a shopping cart burns more calories then carrying a basket.0 -
Walking around the office more today while doing spreadsheets.
Food. Bleh so far. When I'm tired, I'm not healthy....
Breakfast: frozen sandwich 290 calories
Lunch: Bread-thing,
Junk: candy (x3) and coffee
Dinner: TBD
Exercise need this!
Water: 30oz right now...

Despite all the good things from exercising, only about 30 percent of adult Americans report they get regular physical activity during their leisure time—and about 40 percent of Americans say they get no leisure-time physical activity at all.Researchers followed more than 50,000 middle-aged women for six years, surveying their diet and activity habits. They found that for every two hours the women spent watching television each day, they had a 23 percent higher risk of becoming obese and 14 percent higher risk of developing diabetes. Interestingly, it didn’t matter if the women were avid exercisers: The more television they watched, the more likely they were to gain weight or develop diabetes, regardless of how much leisure-time activity and walking they did!
Scary!!!0 -
breakfast: grapefruit and raisin bagel
lunch: soup/ crackers/ cheese and fibre 1 brownie
dinner: not sure yet
did a ballet sculpt workout this morning. I like it a lot it's hard and there is no jumping around. planning on doing 1/2 cardio when I get home from school.
that is an interesting fact about tv. will have to see how much I really watch a day. I wonder if the results are the same for men.0 -
Thursday!
Exercise - Purposely walked around again. I feel much better getting up than sitting at my desk... This desk is just wayyy too low.
Food:
Breakfast - croassiant sandwich. Not doing good in breakfast department mostly because I'm sleeping in too late.
Lunch - swiss and mushroom hamburger with fries (didn't eat 3/4s of my fries!)
Dinner - TBD (probably chilli)
Water: 30oz again right now. Need to drink up the rest tonight.
On a side note, I've been carrying a 40lb bag to refill a burner, 2x a day and I can feel it in my arms. This totally doesn't count as exercise, but it's kind of nice to be able to carry the 40lb bag and then also to know I'm working out my arms too.0 -
breakfast: grapefruit, weeds and seeds, flax seed
lunch: I made little spinach and cheese pizzas (were good, but I made 1 to many)
Dinner: banana, nuts and oranges
exercise: I did the ballet sculpt workout this morning was going to do cardio tonight, we'll see it's just about 9:00 (maybe not)
Fall is over in my neck of the woods, the cold has decided it wants to come out and play brrr. Oh well I guess it was going to show up at some time. Have a great night0 -

TGIF!
Healthy and Happiness along with many other things - are CHOICES. This is hard to accept sometimes because there's so many things we cannot control. There are so many variables that are not us. But, it's the choices we make despite those things and even because of those things that ultimately affects our Health and Happiness.
Choose to not let stress get the better of you
Choose to eat a little better
Choose to move a little more
Choose to find a brighter side...
Take Charge because it's Friday! And the week is nearly done!
