Please update your weigh in by noon on Sunday if you have not done so. Based on number of entries I may revise the group target again.
Watched awesome Transformer movie. Now working on updating my play list but am not coming across any good music fit to keep we walking.
Did not walk on Saturday to rest my legs. The effort to limit my calories were not fruitful. For Sunday will be working on my backyard project. Not giving myself any goal for Sunday. This will make sure that I don't miss any. That will be a sure success

I am setting a week goal starting today, i need to remember that this journey is a life commitment. Even with Thanksgiving, i need to remember that i must make the right choices when deciding which foods i should eat.
After losing 61 pounds i can't let one day set me back, it isn't worth it.0 -
Had a setback on Veterans Day when I crashed my bike and mangled my knee. Haven't bren able to get a decent workout in. I don't thing I've gained anything, but haven't lost either. I will post an update to the spreadsheet as soon as I can!0

I am very unhappy with the daycare schedule at my local gym. The hours for Friday's, Saturdays and Sunday's are just impossible. In other words, I couldn't work out yesterday.
I managed to stay within calories, but fear I'm getting too used with skipping lunch; and, after dinner feeling both full and hungry.
For today I plan to even out my week, I'm about 5000 calories under my target so I need to eat.
Feeling quite good about Thankgiving since I did my groceries and know exactly what will be on the table. My main concern will be creating the recipes and logging everything on the menu.
Have a good Sunday everyone!!!0 -

Happy Sunday Everyone!
I am getting ready to make a delicious breakfast, I don't know what we are having yet, but it is definitely in the near future.
My goal for today is to stay under my calories (Sundays are the hardest for me).0 -
Great race this morning under a beautiful sky and sun, especially for the season.
Was hoping to wrap the 5miles in 50min (okay, 48min in my wildest dreams...) and actually finished in 45min! Not that great for a regular runner but amazing for me.
The rest of the day was mostly dedicated to relaxing my legs and savoring this new personal victory0 -
Have not had a good stretch...gained 2 lbs. feel like failure is mine...sometimes I think I should give up up on this. I eat extremely well-no junk food EVER. My worst vice is walnuts and craisins on salad, (but in quantity)! Healthy choices are easier as I am a celiac. But I probably don't get as much exercise as I should though-only 1/2 hr walk per day plus fitbit steps. Still, after weeks of 1200 cals/day, my weight loss stalled. It is so very easy to take a bite here or there...and then for me...the floodgates open. I am amazed how some of you have lost chunks of weight...how do you keep the motivation going? Do any of you have suggestions to help me get out of this funk? I am giving self a new start today...and will log my gain in the hopes of moving forward (and the scale downward).0

Well losing chunks of weight in itself is a pretty good motivation to keep on going.
But since we're talking net deficit here, I find it much easier/pleasant to reach the deficit by burning MORE than by eating LESS. I wouldn't last a week eating 1200cal/day, but add in 800cal of total exercise calories (fitbit+"real" exercise) and it's not that bad...
Not to mention that when you're out running/swimming/biking you're far away from the kitchen, so less temptation And somehow, running seems to cut the appetite for a few hours, usually enough to last till bedtime. So I would definately suggest going the exercise path to increase your calorie deficit. Hope you find what works for you and congrat's for not giving up, you can do this!

I agree with Pandathon - I wouldn't last long on 1200 cals per day, even though my metabolism is pretty crappy (to quote my doctor exactly after running DEXA scans and tests LOL). I'm still pretty new here at less than 6 months in, but what I've seen of the long term maintainers is a readiness to embrace Good Enough, not perfection, to be patient and to just keep sticking to it despite setbacks and bad days. I run and I also use lots of fitness DVDs; friends who have young kids and who wouldn't dream of using a gym crèche (for a variety of reasons for their neighbourhood gym!) have amazing results from 30 mins a day with Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred and the like. Or even Lesley Sansone. You don't need a lot of time, just a willingness to get creative and to stick to it more days than you don't. Even 300 cals of exercise calories eaten back makes a huge difference (I'd have given up if I was aiming for 800 workout/walking calories every day, but that's me...). Why live without the little bites and the stuff you love? When we move more we can enjoy the treats and reach our goals too .0
