Tired, have a cold, overworked, but looking for the solution

Hello all.
I could give up - I'm tired and have a cold, plus working long hours. BUT I'm staying focused on the solution. What's that? For now, it's a pack of sliced turkey and lowfat babybel from Trader Joe's. Low cal, high protein snack to keep me going in the madness.
And black coffee. Teaching myself to drink it black is saving me a lot of calories and sugar.
How's everybody else doing? Are we still there? Don't give up!

I am still here but have been so busy the last few days that I haven't been on here! I weighed on Monday morning and I have lost a total of 4 pounds since I started. So I am hoping to hit it hard the next couple days so I can at least hit 5 pounds gone by Thanksgiving morning! Got up early and did 25 minutes on the elliptical. Have a healthy dinner planned for the evening to hopefully finish the day out under my calorie goal!0

4 pounds is fantastic! Slow and steady really does win the race. I just read a book about how slower weight loss is healthier. It's less punishing and you're less likely to put it all back on right away.0
