Week 11: Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

This is the start to the beginning of a few extra pounds gained which are with us for the rest of the year, and for many more of us, the rest of our lives.

Enjoy your thanksgiving, but choose wisely!

Tips to a better Thanksgiving and Holiday season:
Exercise more before and after the holiday: instead of working out 3 sessions, work out 4 or 5.
Make better choices: Skip seconds, and instead choose to take a plate home to eat as a future meal, instead of as one huge meal.
Eat better before and after the holiday: Choose carefully in the week up to the day, as well as the days following.
Don't beat yourself up about the holiday; enjoy it!
Be preemptive and anticipate the holidays, and plan accordingly!

    I did exercise every day this week. I made sure to get my exercise in before the thanksgiving meal. I also made sure to get my 10,000 steps in on Thursday knowing that I would be eating dessert.

    I planned to work out 5 times this week, but I only got 2 workouts in...:-/ I guess, set expectations high, right? :#
